Bamboo Salt

Bamboo salt is made exclusively in Korea. In originated in the Taoist monasteries about 1500 years ago. It’s been called Red ORMUS and found to be a universal medicine.

It was discovered from alchemical experimentation. The monks used a kind of reverse method. With the wet method alchemical process, trace minerals were derived from salt and water. The monks used the reverse, in a burn methodology. They proceeded to fuse as many trace minerals into the salt as they could. Rather than separate them out.

Making Bamboo Salt

On a cold rocky, windy seaside on the northeast of the Korean peninsula, a very special and hardy species of bamboo grows in a yellow mineral-rich Loess Clay. A species of knotty pine also grows there. All are continuously bathed in sea spray. The Monks discovered that if they:

  • Packed dry sea salt into a joint section of a large fresh-cut bamboo,
  • Capped the top with a wad of moist Loess Clay for a lid,
  • Burned it in a pine-knot fired Loess Clay kiln at 1700C, then…

The minerals from the bamboo, from the the pine and clay fused into the sea salt. The bamboo burned away, leaving a brick of salt. They crushed the salt, again packed it into another bamboo cylinder, and repeated the process over and over again. Optimum salt, say the Monks, is a 9 times roasted salt.

They discovered on approximately the 3rd or fourth burn, the salt began to turn slightly pinkish, as it acquires (collects) more and more fused minerals, nutrients, phytonutrients, phenols and polyphenols from the bamboo, pine and clay. With each burn the salts got a bit pinker, redder or lavender colored.

Some producers roast salt three times for the smoky flavor. Then artificially color it to be more red. Be careful and know the difference. If the salt is very red, it’s artificial. There is a species of bamboo called Red Bamboo. But it’s not the species used to make Bamboo Salt.

One User Report

Bamboo Salt is quite powerful and a little bit goes a very long way. One user simply wet her finger tip and dabbed it in Bamboo Salt. Then onto her tongue and it was enough for one day. It had a calming effect, and cleared her mind.

The first she time used the real Bamboo Salt, she took about half a teaspoon. Then completely lost her appetite for a couple days. Her digestive system  flushed everything out in a couple hours. Bamboo Salt has fast and strong detox effects.

Several Korean companies use Bamboo Salt in face creams. Very good for skin. Also great in tooth paste. Helps repair teeth, gums and bones with just a few uses.

Bamboo Salt Brine

At the 2005 annual World Trade Organization conference in Hong Kong, there were massive protests and turmoil. About 30 violent protesters were arrested for rioting and destruction of property. In prison, they went on a hunger strike and requested a kilogram of Bamboo Salt. For the duration of the hunger strike, the protesters sipped Bamboo Salt Brine twice a day.

In their daily medical checks, doctors reported no diminished health. And surprisingly, they appeared in better health and more alert than when they were brought in.
