Cellerciser Construction

The Springs

New triple-tiered tapered spring adjusts to the weight of the user automatically.

The Easy-Bounce Cellerciser is not a hard bounce rebounder. Most rebounders use little tube springs that can cause nerve damage, knee problems and lower back pain. When a person alters the angle of their body, this can put them in a very compromised positioned potentially damaging them. The little tube springs generally stretch slightly and come to an abrupt jar at the end of the stretch. The jarring effect can hurt you, like it did my father (covered in “About Dave”) The sudden jar can also break the springs. Dr. Morton Walker, in the Townsend Letter for Doctors, warned physicians to avoid the effects of these rebounders.

In 1993 I introduced the jumbo tapered barrel spring. It stretches from the middle and the tapered ends allow the body to accelerate and decelerate smoothly. These unique barrel springs have re-ignited the benefits of the mini-trampoline. An ever-growing number of medical doctors, chiropractors, massage therapists, Yoga, Tai Chi masters and health practitioners are using and recommending the Cellerciser to their clients. The Cellerciser introduces the new superior quality large fat Triple-tiered Tapered Spring (patent pending) that allows for a gentle acceleration-deceleration effect. And since they avoid the jarring effect, they don’t break like typical tube springs can.

David Hall’s new Triple-tiered Tapered Spring adjusts to the weight of the user automatically. A 100 pound person will utilize the center portion of the spring and second tier, a 200 pound person will advance to the second and third tier, and a 300 pound person will use more of the third tier. David Hall designed the spring so that the user has a very smooth acceleration-deceleration effect without too soft or too hard a bounce. When the typical barrel spring is too soft, the person using it doesn’t receive the resistance needed to build up the cell membrane (necessary for strength and health) Stronger cell membranes help avoid the effects of viruses and other foreign invaders. Our spring is made of hi-carbon steel wire with the excellent annealing/temper treated finish. The final stage of annealing/temper treated finish plays a key point.

Above all, the Triple-tiered Tapered Spring is produced via the newest microcomputer auto-control machineries. Originally the hi-carbon steel wires destroyed a lot of our moldings. In order to produce the very best spring, we were compelled to use tungsten steel moldings to overcome the problem. The “hi-carbon”; steel wire is not on the market so that its minimum producing quantity and longer lead time accounts for a higher cost. But the end result to you is the most beautiful performance available without the breakage other springs have. Our unique design allows the Cellerciser to further distinguish itself from the typical rebound industry.

Note: Rebounders are a dime a dozen. You can find them in garage sales. There’s only one rebounder that’s called the Cellerciser. It’s an investment you’ll only need to make once.

The Mat

Typical rebounders often use a canvas, nylon or plastic mat that can stretch, rot, or mildew. The inferior material, weave and stitching can cause the feet to sink or pronate toward the middle causing ankle problems, knee problems, and lower back problems. In addition the user won’t feel very balanced. When the mat stretches, depending on the angle to which the user lands, it can cause the user to be thrown off. The Mat on the Cellerciser is manufactured in the United States of a high quality space age material. Each polypropylene fiber is put under nearly 200 tons of pressure and then put through an oil drum bath at over 200 degrees resulting in a texture that feels good under the feet. The fabric will not stretch out and will support the user. The user feels balanced and irrespective of the angle to which they land, the Cellerciser lifts them straight up, it doesn’t throw them off. This added confidence gives the user more ability to try the different movements taught by David Hall. UV resistant and made in the USA, our mat material is highly resistant to the elements, so you can even leave it outside in the rain, snow or wind. Try that with a typical rebounder!

Sewing

We use the same special thread and stitching used in the seat belt of your car. The webbing around the mat has 7 rows of stitching on polypropylene webbing. It will not rot or tear like canvas look-a-likes and is also weather resistant. It’s the best.

Coating

The paint on the Cellerciser has replaced the old powder coating with a superior “electro-plating”; finish! That helps the Cellerciser to be more resistant to weather conditions and chipping. Our finishing plants apply Taiwan-made paints to all products including Cellercisers. All these paints are from qualified makers for export worldwide and meet European “RoHs” and USA “CPS” standard. Our cellerciser frames & legs are electro-plated, NOT powder coating finish. We stress “Electroplating Finish” and “Made in Taiwan” and the United States. Don’t be fooled by competitors who work so hard to discredit us. It should be a reflection on the kind of company they are and how good our product really is. We want you to have the best.

Spring Cover

We use the super-reinforced lining for the artificial leather to make the rich, supple and durable spring cover.

Carry Case

The rip-stop nylon carry case is similar to parachute material but thicker. It’s strong and water resistant. The unique Cellerciser folds up and slides into the carry case. It’s completely portable. The Professional Tri-fold fits into a carrying case with built-in dolly (pat.). That makes traveling more convenient!

Color

The Cellerciser is black. A neutral color, black fits with almost any decor. In addition, black Permatron has a better UV resistance and lasts longer.

Frame

All steel construction doesn’t crack (composites have a history of cracking). The springs on typical rebounders are connected directly into the frame, causing the frame to wear away in 36 different points. The Cellerciser frame is drilled with thirty-six holes through the frame. Special steel pins are then inserted through the frame. The springs are then attached to the pins. Hence, the frame lasts virtually forever. Each spring is folded over the attached area so when the portable Cellerciser is folded up, the springs stay in place during travel. In addition we don’t hand weld our legs like our competition. Hand welding can cause cold spots where the weld is weaker and thus can break. We use a computerized robotic welding system. Both of our units use steel hinges for strength and portability. Why do we use steel? Ask the professional gyms. Unfortunately the plastic composites have a history of cracking. Steel lasts.

Legs

At 8.5 inches long, our legs are about 2 inches longer than most units, allowing for the improved spring. A six foot person with an eight foot ceiling has plenty of room to bounce. The supporting legs on typical rebounders are screwed on and can loosen, get stripped, stuck or lost through normal use. The Cellerciser legs are connected over a steel post and held in place by heavy duty piano wire (the best wire available). The leg lifts up and snaps into place. Even the rubber tips at the end of the legs are not typical rubber, but rather a polymer and much stronger. To date we’ve never worn a rubber tip out. We do not have built in obsolescence in the Cellerciser. We even include a metal washer inside the rubber tip so that the legs’ ends won’t wear through. Although the Cellerciser is warranted to 300 pounds we work with many who are over that weight.

Portable Balance Bar

The bar can be raised to three positions for adjusting to a person’s height. The balance bar is not rigid but rather loose. David Hall has discovered in his 15 years of experience that when the bar is rigid, a person becomes more dependent on the bar for their balance. By keeping the bar loose, the person using the Cellerciser only uses the bar when they need it and as their balance improves, they apply less and less weight on the bar. David often uses the example of walking across a fence railing. When walking across the railing it is harder for the average person to keep their balance, but throw in a branch, even a small one, to hold on to, and the balance improves dramatically. David’s tens of thousands customers range in age from infants to those over 100 years. He has worked with gerontology departments helping all ages improve and restore balance. On both the half-fold Cellerciser and the newer Professional tri-fold the bar can be put into the carrying case for portability. The Cellerciser uses high quality materials with superior design and construction.

Performance Testing

Each Cellerciser must pass our performance testing and then is made available for purchase.

Beware

I’ve been teaching my wellness program for nearly 15 years and just as in the 70’s when the cheaper rebounders flooded the market, the rebound industry is now producing cheap rebounders that look similar to the Cellerciser. However when the steel in the spring is cheap, you sink without the resistance necessary to build the body up. Some companies have actually made the legs on their rebounders longer to help their customers avoid hitting the ground. We produce the very best mini-trampoline on the market. Put our unit next to anybody’s and we will guarantee you will see and feel the difference. We have tens of thousands of satisfied customers who are more family than customers. We have chosen not to sell the Cellerciser in stores like our competitors do. We sell through Doctors, health practitioners, word of mouth, and through our company directly. Our customers can call and talk with me or my staff. We consult with Doctors on the benefits of Cellercise. And I continue to share my program with groups all over the United States and different areas of the world. The bottom line, we don’t just want to sell you a great piece of equipment, we want you to get results.

There are lots of rebounders there’s only one Cellerciser.
