And the Therapeutic Response
In order to understand how EssenceSea can produce a welcome synergy
with various therapeutic programs, we need to first understand why EssenceSea
(ES) exists. The answer is that 'ES exists to help people achieve
their optimum longevity'.
How does EssenceSea help people achieve their optimum longevity? ES provides
a unique and distinctive pathway to optimum longevity by creating a Synergy
of Wellness between the two essential factors in the human condition,
the vegetative factors and the animistic factors.
The vegetative factors involve nutrition, body maintenance and repairs.
This essential function is administered by the parasympathetic nervous
system in the body. The animistic factors involve activities, also known
as fight-or-flight responses, which are administered internally in the
body by the sympathetic nervous system. Of course, these are the internal
body systems and we want to support the external body processes that facilitate
the internal ones. We support the vegetative functions externally by making
sure that our nutrition follows the ancient patterns of nutrition, or
the nutritional foundation that was established from the ocean millions
of years ago . We support the animistic functions by providing emotional
support for the instinctual activities that people naturally want to explore
.
The first stage of the WellnesSynergy program is to detoxify the body
of the negative residues accumulated over a lifetime of nutritional and
emotional processes that are unsuited to create optimum longevity. The
nutritional detoxification stage is an essential component of the EssenceSea
approach. The corresponding emotional detoxification is central to the
WellnesSynergy approach and is traditionally referred to as the Therapeutic
Response. As it happens, the toxic residues of inadequate nutrition can,
and often do, get embroiled with the memory residues of traumatic emotional
experiences. This connection can occur because traumatic emotional experiences
involve the subconscious mind, which sits at the junction between the
cortex, or conscious mind and the unconscious mind. The unconscious mind
is represented in the body by the brain stem and its extension into the
central nervous system of the body.
It is often pointed out that as much as 10% of the neurons in the body
are outside the brain and are located in the central nervous system and
around the various organs. Perhaps for this reason, not only are the negative
nutritional experiences stored in the organs, something that is well documented,
but also many of our negative emotional experiences get stored in certain
organs . In our research on Pain Mitigation & Tissue Repairs, referred
here in the Appendix (below), we point out that one of the most ubiquitous
vegetative human experiences in our modern society is the progressive,
and ultimately advanced, calcification of the soft tissues of the body
and the brain, over a lifetime of mineral-devoid nutrition. The neurons
of the Central Nervous System are not exempt from this calcification process.
Therefore, over time, their response can freeze into a pattern that indicates
to the limbic brain that the body is currently under some traumatic stress.
Now, the limbic brain can be viewed as a marvelous computer that compares
the input from the conscious cortex and from the unconscious central nervous
system to provide all sorts of neurotransmitter molecules that can dramatically
affect the operation of both body and mind. Targeted therapeutic sessions
can indeed substantially modify the operation of the limbic brain so that
the neurotransmitters produced will respond better to the intention produced
by the conscious cortex, as was demonstrated Milton Erikson, the original
developer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. However, if the signals produced
by the Central Nervous System are frozen (via soft tissue calcification)
into a pattern of physical trauma, therapeutic results 'may' be
at risk of being short-lived and partial. For this reason, we, at EssenceSea,
strongly recommend that therapeutic treatments be repeated at intervals
of a few months, while interspaced with the decalcification program detailed
in the appendix.
Weight Loss Application
The connection between the vegetative factors and the animistic factors
is especially strong when attempting to treat weight loss issues. Richards
and Richards have presented vast amount of research results demonstrating
that the interplay of leptin, adrenalin, and insulin plays a large role
in determining the weight set point. They report that the brain looses
the physiological ability to recognize the leptin signal that enough food
has been eaten, in a great many cases of obesity.
The EssenceSea Tissue repair protocol described here then becomes almost
essential to make sure that therapeutic treatments will succeed elegantly.
In addition, most weight loss programs involve an amount of calorie restriction
and exercise. These in turn require additional support for the nutritional
program. Thus, supplements of EssenceSea's Sea-Odine, Wild-Crafted
Grass, Sea Vitality, and Sea-Alka will most appropriately support the
vegetative factors that can then, in turn, magnify the impact of the therapeutic
treatments.
