The alpha XP Factor® was discovered in the early 1980's by Dr. Brice E. Vickery. It has been found to be the probable cause or major contributing factor of many unsolved conditions such as hypoglycemia, back pain (degenerative disk disease), chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and even osteoporosis. The factor was named alpha; first, x; unknown, P for Protein, which also means first nutrient. Before Dr. Vickery's discovery the World's doctors assumed that normal serum protein levels meant that the cells were receiving the amino acids (protein) that they needed. Dr. Vickery found that nine out of ten persons - do not.

In 1980 Dr. Brice E. Vickery, a Holistic Chiropractic Physician and Applied Kinesiologist (now medical director for SuperNutrient Corporation) discovered that 9 out of 10 of his patients were protein deficient! This deficiency was not detectable by blood tests but was found through Applied Kinesiology (energy/muscle tests of the body's own system). This was a startling discovery because current thought in medicine and nutrition still adheres to the belief that "if sufficient protein is ingested, that it will be utilized." This was found to be false.

This discovery, that 9 out of 10 people were not "utilizing" their dietary protein to rebuild their tissues, but rather converting much of it to sugars and burning it as fuel or storing it as fat, was revolutionary. Dr. Vickery found that most of his patients were in a "nutritional" crisis mode where their systems could not sustain themselves and were depleted to a point of serious degeneration. Dr Vickery determined that if he could find a way for the body to absorb the proper nutrition it needed that the body could begin to heal itself and correct the years of degeneration. So in the early 80's Dr. Vickery teamed up with a score of world renowned doctors and chemists to find the missing factor in the nutritional chain. This missing link turned out to be the free form amino acid chain. But not just any amino formula would work. They discovered that in order for the body to utilize all the necessary nutrients the free form amino chain needed to be a perfect balance of amino acids similar to that found in nature.

By 1986 the first "Essential Amino Acid formula" was in production and this perfectly balanced formula was in use. Back pain in thousands of cases responded so well, that Dr. Vickery in a 50 case study had 100% success. These ranged from herniated disks (confirmed by CT Scan and MRI) to lesions that were still intra-diskal yet were causing pain and malfunction.

What happened next took the staff by surprise. Not only back pain and disk problems were being healed, but arthritis, depression, hypoglycemia, heart problems, blood pressure, fibromyalgia and a host of conditions cleared up coincidentally with the treatment of the back injuries! Needing to confirm these findings independently Dr. Vickery made his formula available to other doctors for free. They began to have similar results!

With the continual advances in science and nutrition a host of other beneficial dietary supplements have been made available. That is why in 1997 the SuperNutrient Corporation was formulated with Dr. Vickery as it's Chief Medical Director. The nutrition that we get from our food is no longer sufficient for our needs. It was all right in the Garden of Eden but, we were ejected. Then man really "improved" things with the cooking and preserving of meat, pasteurization of our dairy products, our orange and fruit juices, our canned food. We can keep it forever now but the trouble is that it has become " dead" food! Everything that we ate in the Garden of Eden was alive!

The enzymes that were present in the live food were destroyed. These enzymes according to Dr. Edward Howell and Dr. Howard Loomis augmented our "enzyme banks " (a limited capacity to make digestive enzymes) because the live food helped us to digest itself! It is for this reason that Dr. Vickery recommends that everyone make an effort to ingest at least 50% of their food in the natural state. The average person might have trouble doing even this much.

Even with this effort it is necessary to take the Amino Acids because they are in what is called free form or individual Amino Acids. They are in the perfect proportions and in sufficient amounts for the pancreas and small intestine glands to manufacture the digestive enzymes that is needed to digest the rest of the daily dietary protein. The body then gets the total amino acids from the meat, eggs fish, nuts, and protein powders that are part of our daily diets.

This is the most neglected area of healing. MOST of the most famous doctors in the world don't KNOW anything about this protein problem. If they did they would have solved the back pain problem years and years ago. They wouldn't be fooling around with things like glucosamine sulphate and chondroitin sulphate.
