Essential Oil Dispersant

Essential Oil Dispersant is an invaluable tool for enhancing treatments and
Bath and Body products. Many aromatherapy texts recommend the use of a dispersant
when using essential oils in water treatments (baths, compresses, facial spritzers,
mist sprays, skin care, etc.)
Most Dispersants are synthetic. Our Dispersant is a fraction of Sweet Almond Oil
and is extracted by low heat and pressure.

Why use an oil-to-water dispersant?
|
Firstly, to prevent single drops of essential oil from coming into direct
contact with skin, thus reducing the chance of a sensitive skin reaction. This is of great importance
when using essential oils in a bath, as skin is more sensitive when immersed in warm water. Secondly,
to create a more efficient compress or spray that will deliver the essential oils properly, leading to
better results. |
Quality
|
Our dispersant is made from a fraction (segment or piece) containing triglycerides of Sweet Almond
Oil from a botanical source. It is very economical, as the amount to use is simply drop for drop with essential oils. |
Use
|
To use this dispersant, mix equal amounts of essential oil and dispersant
(i.e. 6 drops of essential oil for a bath would require 6 additional drops of dispersant) and mix until
blended. Add the mixture to the bath water.
It is very important to blend the dispersant with the essential oils before introducing the mixture
to water. Once mixed with water, the blend will become cloudy.
There is no need to use the dispersant in an oil burner.
