Judith Wade founded Living Foods Educational Health Center in Victoria BC in the fall of 1993 under the guidance and care of Ann
Wigmore N.D., the world famous author and teacher of Living Foods Lifestyle and Wheatgrass Therapy.
Dr. Ann Wigmore started her research in the 1960s, and later established her Ann Wigmore Educational and Research Foundation in Boston and Puerto Rico. Her work and legacy focuses on the introduction of the concept of living foods - not just vegetarian, or raw, but living, filled with highly nutritious, organically grown whole foods, prepared without the damage to the naturally occurring enzymes, chlorophyll, phytochemicals, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, fats, sugars, amino acids and life vitality.
Judith Wade is a European-born hotelier and professional chef, trained in Czechoslovakia and Switzerland. Her creative cuisine has garnered her much attention and she is the recipient of several culinary arts awards. Her inquisitive mind and passion for health drove her to deepen her studies in Herbology, Nutrition, Meditation, Kinesiology, Body, Mind and Spirit Intelligences Connections, Organic Gardening and 14 Years of Chinese Martial Arts.
In 1988, Judith founded Living Foods Educational Health Center in the back yard of her 10 acre farm in Metchosin - Victoria, B.C. What began as a few trays of wheatgrass planted for gifts to friends soon grew into a thriving empire of health products. At its peak, Living Foods produced and sold up to 600 trays of wheatgrass and other greens every month. Judith’s passion for personal health and well-being and her talents as a chef, catapulted her business to unexpected success.
During the 20 years on her farm Judith took in many guests and taught them face to face the art of preparing Living Foods that they used to heal from a wide range of degenerative diseases. Living Foods support Life - returning the body to its optimal function. No degenerative disease can manifest in a fully cleansed and nourished body.
