NHS40: Chronic Pain Relief: Suppress Symptoms or Heal the Cause!28.02.2013
by Life Enthusiast Staff
You cannot heal the cause of pain with a pain killer.
You may stop feeling it, but you will likely pay an even bigger price... later.
Mainstream medical minds focus on symptoms and their suppression.
It is possible to suppress a symptom using poisons, through interference with physiological processes. Yet unless the cause is dealt with, the problem and its symptoms will return with greater strength, or with a broader and deeper level, which will be even more difficult to deal with. It is generally known as "aging", and is preceded by "you'll have to get used to that." We don't quite agree with this philosophy.
Most chronic pain
is caused by inflammation.
There are four symptoms of inflammation: pain, swelling, heat and redness. In case of an internal condition, you cannot see the redness, and the heat is undetected, only the pain and possibly the swelling will be obvious. Many conditions are of sub-clinical nature, meaning that it may have taken years for arthritis pain to be severe enough for you to take pain-killers.
Is your joint pain caused by a deficiency in pain-killers?
Is Ibuprofen an essential nutrient that you need for your body to function correctly?
No... these are signal-blocking substances that cause your nerves to not transmit the pain signals, or your brain to not interpret these signals with such intensity.
Taking a pain killer is like turning off the siren on a fire truck. You've taken care of the noise, but not of the cause.
Natural anti-inflammatory supplements can both suppress the symptoms and reverse the cause. I refer you to the pages where we discuss "Cause of Disease".
