The discussion opens with a discussion of obesity and general eating habits. As you start to get older, as Martin and Scott point out, you may wonder why small indulgences really add up when it comes time to stand on the bathroom scale. This is exactly what metabolism is: the regulation of the foods we eat by the body.

Scott is quick to point out that since adding his essential enzymes to his diet as well as taking Exsula Superfoods every morning, he has cut down greatly on his weight. Martin explains why this change has taken place. Basically, he says, it comes down a combination of an increase in metabolism and a decrease in insulin resistance.

As Martin says, an improperly balanced metabolism is one of the five main sources of illness and as such it is an issue which should not be ignored. Check out the full episode for plenty more astonishing health tips!

Assimilation and Elimination: Podcast #193

Martin Pytela, renowned founder of the Life Enthusiast Co-op, is back with his co-host Scott Paton for this week’s exciting podcast. The topic this week? A very interesting one: Assimilation and Elimination, two extremely important key stones that make us tick. It has been suggested that if these two aspects of our bodies could be properly regulated, we could extend life as far as we wanted.

So just what is assimilation and elimination? Assimilation can be thought of as the body’s ability to utilize the nutrients found in the foods we eat. Unfortunately, most people in our society think that large quantities of food equal more nutrients. This is quite misguided as it completely ignores the body’s ability to take this nutrition and put it to good use.

Typical absorption rates of nutrients range from 20-80%. This means that you might be only assimilating as little as 20% of the nutrients you are feeding your body.

Elimination, on the other hand, might be more known to the general public, for it is simply the way the body removes waste and eliminates toxins. While we might not think about it, every activity the body does produces waste. This waste is eliminated through the skin, lungs, kidneys and intestines. If any of these channels aren’t functioning properly, there can be major problems.

This really only scratches the surface of this fascinating topic. Be sure to check out the podcast for yourself!

The success stories focus on two separate products that by now are probably well-known to our regular listeners. They are Platinum Plus and Exsula’s Strata Flora.

natural healing remedies, alternative healing remedies, holistic healing remedies

Platinum Plus really is your best bet if you are experiencing discomfort and illness through a systemic disease. The product is designed to provide the body with free form amino acids which target unwanted metal toxicity throughout the body and repair tissues that have been damaged. These amino acids also help break down dietary protein which may normally get wasted, into individual amino acids which are much more useful throughout the body.

Exsula’s Strata Flora is a very similar product in that it targets immune system deficiencies that result from the types of “super germs” that have been bred thanks to antibiotics, and foreign viruses and bacterium coming in from remote locations of the globe (i.e. swine flu etc.)

This product is the perfect cure for that persistent cough you’ve had for months that won’t respond to antibiotics. Due to our supermarket diets and our increasing use of antibiotics, the digestive flora that normally accumulates in the intestines is not there anymore. As a result, you are left with only the strongest antibiotic-proof bacteria thriving in an environment purged of all threats or danger. No wonder that cough won’t go away!

Colon Disorders: Podcast #186

When you talk about the most common health problems affecting people’s lives in a negative way, the last thing you are liable to think of as the root would be bowel problems.

Nonetheless, this is the topic of Life Enthusiast Martin Pytela and co-host Scott Paton’s latest podcast. You can stream it right below:

“In the 50 years I’ve spent helping people to overcome illness, disability and disease, it has become crystal clear that poor bowel management lies at the root of most people’s health problems.”

natural healing solutions, natural products, natural remedies

This is a statement made by Dr. Bernard Jensen, DC, ND, Ph.D, who has studied with some of the best doctors in the United States and Europe. He has had his own sanitarium for over fifty years and continues to practice with an open mind and heart. This is undoubtedly the reason he was once nominated for a Nobel Prize.

The best way for us to combat these problems that manifest themselves in so many unforeseen ways in our health is through probiotic supplementation. Probiotics refer to the natural, beneficial bacterium to be found in the digestive tract. “Bad” bacteria, make us sick, while probiotics can protect us from degeneration and disease.

The Life Enthusiast Co-op offers a great product for just this purpose called Strata Flora. They are great probiotic supplements which I can’t recommend highly enough. It’s also worth mentioning that antibiotic means “against life”, while probiotic means “for life”. In the end, it’s your choice.
