Martin Pytela, founder of the Life Enthusiast Co-op, and his faithful co-host Scott Paton are back again with another astonishing podcast episode. The topic this week? The Liver. A master chemist, metabolising all sorts of compounds throughout the body, the more you know about the liver, the more in control of your health you will be.

In addition to regulating metabolism, the liver provides energy and nutrients to be used for the other systems of the body. It emulsifies fats so they can be broken down with greater ease by creating bile, an essential substance for digestion and assimilation. Electrolyte levels, such as the calcium/magnesium balance, are maintained by the liver as are the creation of blood and maintenance of water levels.

Not only a master chemist, the liver also functions as a storage unit, able to provide extra blood on demand and store fat-soluble vitamins. It can also store fuel in the form of Vitamin B and various minerals and sugars.

The problem is the liver is not always able to do its job properly. As a result, toxins build up and the blood is not properly filtered. Polluting technologies, lifestyle habits, stress, lack of nutrition, alcohol: these all contribute to slowing the liver down.

As a solution I want to recommend a fantastic liver and gallbladder flush that anyone can do. It is discussed in detail in podcast above, and more information can be found on the website. It is easy to do, requiring only 24 hours, and you won’t believe the difference in your energy levels and well-being.
