Colon Disorders: Podcast #186

When you talk about the most common health problems affecting people’s lives in a negative way, the last thing you are liable to think of as the root would be bowel problems.

Nonetheless, this is the topic of Life Enthusiast Martin Pytela and co-host Scott Paton’s latest podcast. You can stream it right below:

“In the 50 years I’ve spent helping people to overcome illness, disability and disease, it has become crystal clear that poor bowel management lies at the root of most people’s health problems.”

natural healing solutions, natural products, natural remedies

This is a statement made by Dr. Bernard Jensen, DC, ND, Ph.D, who has studied with some of the best doctors in the United States and Europe. He has had his own sanitarium for over fifty years and continues to practice with an open mind and heart. This is undoubtedly the reason he was once nominated for a Nobel Prize.

The best way for us to combat these problems that manifest themselves in so many unforeseen ways in our health is through probiotic supplementation. Probiotics refer to the natural, beneficial bacterium to be found in the digestive tract. “Bad” bacteria, make us sick, while probiotics can protect us from degeneration and disease.

The Life Enthusiast Co-op offers a great product for just this purpose called Strata Flora. They are great probiotic supplements which I can’t recommend highly enough. It’s also worth mentioning that antibiotic means “against life”, while probiotic means “for life”. In the end, it’s your choice.

Diabetes Part Two: Podcast #175

Most people think that diabetes has no cure, doctors included. The disease is progressive, meaning it gets worse and worse as time goes on, but also fatal. Even while the patient is still alive, diabetes creates a web of complications set off by each attack. In this manner, diabetes can attack every major organ very quickly.

Martin Pytela and his co-host Scott Paton continue their discussion of the illness in this week’s podcast episode. Check it out right here:

Most public health officials will grant that they can not slow the disease very efficiently. Many doctors fear for waves of new cases of diabetes which will overwhelm the general public’s health. There was even an article about this very issue in the New York Times recently. The article questioned the medical establishments’ treatment of communicable diseases over chronic illnesses such as diabetes, which kill many more people comparatively.

Indeed, most New York hospitals will be filled with patients seeking treatment for diabetes on any given day. It is estimated that half the patients there are seeking help due to some complication that is at least related to the disease.

One of the important topics that Martin and Scott bring up in this podcast episode is magnesium. In all the talk about diabetes, magnesium seems to get lost in the clamour, despite the fact that scientists suspect a deficiency could greatly affect insulin secretion throughout the pancreas and insulin resistance in the body’s tissues. There are also many other reasons that magnesium should be supplemented. It helps out a great deal with many of the body’s processes, so much so that it is quite a surprise that is not more well known as the pillar of health and vitality that it is.

Candida Cleanse offers additional friendly microbes designed to outnumber the problem over time, repopulating their territory. This process is a long one and can be quite drastic. Back from Europe: Podcast #26

This podcast commemorates Martin Pytela’s return from a three week trip from Europe, where he spent time in Prague and London visiting family. Martin at this point, having just got back, is still adjusting to the change in time zones, something that is not very healthy on the body. Staying within two or three time zones will not cause much trouble, but when you start making huge nine or ten hour shifts it is very rough on the body’s internal clock.

A similar example is working night shifts. Scott recounts his university days where in the summers he would work night shifts. Shift work has a similar effect on our health, and as Martin says its pretty much “the worst invention ever”.

The theme of this podcast is the idea of change and its effect on our health and lifestyle. Like all biological creatures, we are all naturally resisting change. We will go to great ends in order to continue to do what we have always done. The only thing that forces us to change is the point at which we can no longer continue without severe consequences.

Unfortunately, for many of us this means we are doomed to become ill, since so many of our everyday habits that we cling due are not the healthiest. As we continue to get worse, hopefully we finally reach a point where we come to the realization that we must make a change in our lifestyle lest we remain sick until the day we die.

If this all sounds very bleak, it is only to create the realization in each and every one of us that we don’t have to wait until it is too late. We all have the power to make the change we miss to see in the world, if we make it now!

Back Health Sans Drugs: Podcast #183

This week’s podcast episode starts with Martin Pytela, founder of the Life Enthusiast Co-op, describing his wife’s back pain which Martin has been working on with a good old fashion back rub plus some help from the Scalar Wand with Muscle attachments and sure enough he was able to relieve some of his wife’s pain without resorting to back surgery!

This type of back pain is very commonly treated through over-the-counter prescription drugs. These are designed to relieve symptoms for pain, inflammation and sleep. Unfortunately, there are many complications from taking these drugs over a long period of time. There have even been recorded cases of stomach bleeding caused by these medications, which is terribly serious.

Alternative health products can’t always completely solve the problem; they can provide much relief from symptoms and reduce inflammation, pain and swelling. These treatments tend to work more over the long term, while also providing vitality.

Making changes to Mother Nature is seldom a good idea. Companies commonly change molecules to make profitable patents, while causing unnatural problems for patients. A healthy exercise is to try to go through your medicine cabinet and find healthy alternatives for each of the products starting back at you. Trust me: there are plenty out there!

Finding your way to Recovery: Podcast #14

This podcast episode starts with an important point made by Martin Pytela. Martin states that the two most common ways for Americans to die is by heart disease and cancer. Scott wonders, “Is this really the best way of us to go? It can’t be that pleasant.” Martin observes that while we are enjoying a certain amount of life extension it might all be for nought if we aren’t enjoying the time we are spending here. Running around in a scooter with an oxygen bottle doesn’t seem like Martin’s idea of growing old gracefully, and most would undoubtedly agree.

This is where Martin’s unbelievable product Recovery comes into play. The product’s main ingredients are startlingly simple: grape extract and green tea. The active ingredient in green tea is extremely important to how the product functions and it’s called EGCG, or epigallo catechin gallate.

This active ingredient calms down an immune system which has gone off the rails, while the product itself repairs cartilage, skin, blood vessels, bones, joint tissues and much more. It also puts an end to internal inflammation for once and for all

So if a pain-free life seems like a dream to you, Recovery will prove that a results-oriented product can do very much to help you recover the freedom to move.
