Building More Testosterone and Keeping it Testosterone

In the supplement world, there are numerous creams and oral supplements claiming to increase testosterone production. Since the banning of Androstene, (which did work), most of these supplements are a bunch of hype followed by a batch of disappointment. Many of these contain herbs meant to stimulate the pituitary into releasing Luteinizing Hormone. This hormone tells the testicles to make testosterone and progesterone (the hormone that keeps testosterone from converting into estrogen). Studies done on transdermal delivery of hormones shows that applying hormones through the skin has a 95% absorption rate compared with taking them orally, but no one has ever tested herbs and their components to see if they transfer transdermally. I used to think they did and they likely do IF, the extraction method used to get the good stuff out of the herbs is complete enough to get the chemical components out of the herb, concentrate it and put it into a medium (i.e. cream, alcohol, DMSO etc.) where it can actually transfer across the skin and get into the blood stream. In other words, just putting a ground up raw herb into a cream will not get the good stuff from that herb into your body! Just making a “tea” out of those herbs and then mixing the tea in a cream base will not provide enough of the active chemicals from the herb to make any physiological difference in a person.

Of the oral stuff, there is precious little the paternalistic federal government has left us to use to make testosterone out of. Seems the selling of real estrogen (i.e. isoflavones and lignans) by the bucket load is perfectly okay but anything that makes testosterone is a no, no. Governments prefer fat, bitchy, moody, and balding slaves to strong, non-depressed, opinionated and driven citizens. There still are two foods whose chemical constituents will make testosterone and these have not yet been thought about or suppressed by the FDA. I almost hate to mention them as this will put them on the FDA’s radar – spinach – you know that stuff Popeye eats. Yea, the same stuff the big agra business companies tainted with salmonella and cut lose on the US market in ’08 to make congress pass laws restricting organic farming. Spinach contains a sterol (plant cholesterol) that is just one step away from becoming testosterone! Bad news about the spinach is that it takes a pound of the stuff or more a day to make any significant level of T! Bummer!

Next with this specific sterol is maca root. Maca has several neat qualities, it blocks estrogen, increases progesterone levels, helps make testosterone (though the studies say it does not. I’ll explain in a bit). Maca undoes the thing that inactivates testosterone and progesterone (i.e. Sex Hormone Binding Globulin) which increases free testosterone levels (the important number to have counted as opposed to the total testosterone number). Maca increases seminal fluid production, which in turn increases fertility and prolongs orgasm! Used with arginine to increase sperm count size and strength it is the ideal combination to increase male fertility which has been plummeting since the 1970’s. As with spinach a good bit of maca needs to be eaten to have the good effects noted. Of the powder of any type, raw, sun dried, cooked or gelatinized, it takes 3 to 6 tablespoons of maca intake daily to have its positive actions.

A word has to be said on the oft quoted study that shows that maca does not increase testosterone in mice. Thank God for the folks who did that study. They used relatively low doses (sub clinical) to do that study I think to purposely come up with the data they did. Remember that the body works on a system of thresholds. Dosing any thing below its threshold for action produces no results. Some is not better than none, some may be the same as none. This is true for antibiotics, anti depressants and all other drugs. It also holds true for herbs, nutrients and enzymes. So in using a sub clinical dosing level of maca on the mice in the study and showing the maca produced no testosterone, that has given the root a journal published research piece to show the FDA to protect it from all those who want to do away with all testosterone making substances.

Remember T equals strength and fertility and the eco yuppie crowd does not want any more people to be made. This along with governments wanting docile citizens has driven the soy / flax / estrogen-in-everything-population- control drive we’ve had the last few decades! Governments counter this accusation by stating that testosterone is carcinogenic and their bans protect the public. This flies in the fact of truth. Testosterone is only one instance but what is true is that 99.9% of ALL cancers are driven and grown by estrogen! A fact kept very quiet by the HRT making drug companies and the agra business companies pushing the sales of their largest cash crop, soy. If the FDA and congress were truly concerned about cancer and not their bribes they would ban every estrogenic food and substance starting with soy (www.soyonlineservice.co.nz) and progressing on to organo phosphate fertilizers and pesticides!

So, after that detour lets get back to what can help the body make a ton of its own testosterone without actually supplying testosterone from the outside (THRT). Maca is great, except that taking up to 6 tablespoons a day of a not so great tasting powder is not sustainable by most folks in today’s world. For this reason we developed Andeanessence. The new product is a whole root full strength maca extract. Whole root means we keep everything that’s in the maca except for the fiber and sugar. Some extracts concentrate on removing specific chemicals ignoring the synergy nature built into a food where most all of its chemical components come together to produce a nutritive effect.

Full strength means we do not dilute the extract we attain. Read the label on most extracts of maca and you’ll see they are 2x to 4x strength. These are dilution’s of an extract. A full strength extract of anything is 12x to 14x. (The number can vary due to the inexact content of the herb, root or tissue involved in the extraction). In Andeanessence we have every nutrient component of the maca in its full potency. Since most of the maca is fiber and sugar it is possible to squeeze the goodness of 4 to 5 tablespoons of maca into a single caplet! One Andeanessence a day is what most folks need to make extra T,P block estrogen and free testosterone.

Next we have the pinnacle of testosterone making supplements, Andrive. The result of superior nutritional pharmacology, Andrive works so well some have compared it to using actual testosterone. During testing we’ve even had reports of it working as well or better than the prescription testosterone gels and yet it does not have a whit of testosterone in it. What it does have are things that the body will turn into testosterone and just as importantly turn into progesterone. Why progesterone??? Because in both men and women progesterone is the hormone that prevents testosterone from converting into estrogen. The missing link in testosterone HRT and anabolic steroid use has always been keeping T from turning into estradiol and estrone, the two nasty forms of estrogen. The synthetic muscle building drugs especially have the nasty habit of converting into estrogen and thus the gynecomastia (aka bitch tits) or male breasts famous with anabolic steroid use. Couple the increase of estrogen from steroid use with the fact that those drugs have only half of testosterone’s actions i.e. they are anabolic (tissue building and maintaining) but are not androgenic (increasing and maintaining sexual ability) in any way so these drugs create heavily muscled eunuchs with female breasts!

Anti aging docs prescribing testosterone and the docs who secretly council pro athletes, wrestlers and olympians on steroid use have scratched their heads when elevated levels of estrogen show up in patients receiving prescription testosterone or the muscle building drugs. Progesterone is the key that they are missing. In vivo, (a live human body) progesterone prevents this conversion preserving the T as T. And NO the drug Progestine is NOT progesterone only USP Progesterone is true natural progesterone.

Progestine is a progesterone estrogen hybrid meant to be used as birth control, trying to keep women from having the side effects of estrogen use as deep such as: depression, mood swings, water weight gain, fat increase in the hips, thighs and buttocks. Real progesterone cannot be used as birth control as it actually increases fertility!!! Progestine given to pregnant women causes miscarriage. USP progesterone given to pregnant women helps to prevent miscarriage!

In Andrive, helping to make P and T in your body is achieved naturally and without drugs. The vegetable and glandular components along with the extracts in the product are easily and readily converted directly into testosterone and progesterone in ones own cells once the cream is absorbed and taken to our sexual organs! One half a teaspoon twice or more a day for men and 1/4 teaspoon twice or more a day for women and the positive effects will be feel-able in no time!

For men the great test for testosterone level aside from formal blood or saliva tests is the morning erection. We make T twice a day between 2 and 4 AM and 2 and 4 PM with the largest release being at night. No morning erection equals no testosterone made that night. To many of those nights in a row indicates Andropause (male menopause). If the erection is strong and hard then testosterone was made that night. The smaller and softer the erection the lower the level of T made that night. Morning erection size and hardness is literally a gauge of testosterone production! The medial amygdala of a man is where all of his drive for life, business, success and pleasure arise from. In men this part of the brain is larger than in women due to higher testosterone levels! By the 40’s (or earlier in the X and Y generations) when T levels fall the medial amygdala shrinks to the same size as that of women. With that the major force for mental drive and zest in life are gone. Research has shown that when T levels are restored in older men the medial amygdala once again increases in size and with it the drive and zest for life returns. (Read: The Testosterone Syndrome book).

For women the test of testosterone level is sex drive. Low or no libido = no T. It’s that simple. So when properly making their own testosterone, women have higher libidos. A teenage level of libido shows great T production in a gal! (It must be said that T is not the only factor in libido, especially a woman’s. Dopamine is the other half of desire and in making this, the Enkindle product is essential). What will the positive effects of increased Testosterone levels be?

Positive Effects In Men:

  • Elevated mood
  • Increased mental and physical drive (from increasing the size of the medial amygdala)
  • greater libido
  • younger looking skin
  • maintaining bone density
  • increased fertility
  • decreasing body fat
  • maintaining and building musculature (especially during the 50’s when men loose 10% muscle mass per year until by 60 they are at minimal muscle mass to move about)!

Positive Effects In Women:

  • elevated mood
  • increased mental and physical drive
  • greater libido
  • younger looking skin
  • greater bone density
  • decreasing body fat
  • Maintaining muscle mass (especially during the 50’s when women loose 10% muscle mass per year until by 60 they are at minimal muscle mass to move about! Also women who are estrogen dominant loose muscle as estrogen causes muscle catabolysis and gain fat at from the waist to the knees).

Returning the progesterone and testosterone levels of a body to where they were in one’s late teenage or early twenty’s has the effect of improving the entire system from the brain to the bones, restoring the physical and mental strength to dream big dreams, to do, to make, to build and to conquer! Andrive can help restore a stronger and a more youthful you! You’ll feel the difference within the first jar.
