Custom Blend of Chlorella Pyrenoidosa (cracked cell, from Japan) and Chlorella Regularis (thin wall, from USA) with 10% base of high grade non-GMO Lecithin to support best nutrient transport and utilization.
Chlorella has 5 to 10 times the chlorophyll content of any other algae.
Chlorella is one of the most thoroughly researched foods. It is recognized as having the highest chlorophyll content of all known plants. It is a fresh water, single-cell green algae that is renowned for its health giving properties such as vitamins, minerals, fiber, nucleic acids, amino acids, enzymes, CGF (Chlorella Growth Factor) and other beneficial nutrients.
Chlorella regularis, a single-celled fresh water plant, is a storehouse of enzymes, vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients. It contains more purifying chlorophyll than any known plant, as well as highly beneficial RNA/DNA. Additionally, Chlorella regularis is a rich source of carotenes, iron and B-12, nutrients particularly important to vegetarians. While common chlorella is produced outdoors autotrophically, we use heterotrophically-grown chlorella that is cultivated indoors in sealed and sterilized containers that yield clean, pure, and highly active nutrient-rich product.
It is pure: Cultivated in indoor tanks free of environmental pollutants.
It is highly stable: Rich nutrients are not oxidized through mechanical disruption.
It is easily digestible: Possesses a thin, enzyme receptive cell-wall.
Most chlorella requires the cell wall to be broken down before it is digestible by humans, so that the nutrients can be absorbed. However, many important vitamins are oxidized when the cell wall is broken. Our chlorella has a very thin semi-permeable cell wall that allows unaltered plant nutrients to be bioavailable. With excellent algae composition, higher digestive efficiency (over 80% of the protein content is digestible), and no after-taste, it clearly surpasses chlorella grown outdoors.
Chlorella pyrenoidosa, one of over 70,000 species of algae, is a 4 billion year old strain of green algae, one of the oldest foods on the planet. Our Pyrenoidosa is produced in Asia by the world's largest producers. This algae has been utilized for thousands of generations, with close attention paid to the genetic strains and the purity. This problem is very much overlooked by many algae producers worldwide.
There are thousands of research papers on Chlorella from medical institutions, scientific journals and universities. One aspect of Chlorella that is of particular interest to scientists is the CGF or Chlorella Growth Factor. Chlorella has a number of properties which are beneficial to organs and tissues that have been injured by a various causes. It has been demonstrated to promote liver health and has been called the "great normalizer" because of its ability to balance bodily functions. Although some positive effects of taking Chlorella may be felt immediately, such as correcting constipation and bad breath, Chlorella's full nutritive and detoxifying abilities will take 3-6 months to be fully appreciated. Numerous research projects indicate that Chlorella can aid the body in the detoxification of persistent hydrocarbon and metallic toxins such as DDT, PCB, Mercury, Cadmium and Lead, while strengthening the immune system response. In Japan, interest in Chlorella has focused largely on its detoxifying properties, or its ability to neutralize or remove poisonous substances from the body. The fibrous materials in Chlorella will also improve digestion and promote the growth of beneficial aerobic bacteria in the stomach. |
