You know your body better than anyone else and that's great!
But there's this thing called aging, and it happens to all of us... if you're lucky.
Are You Getting Enough Exercise?
If exercise were a drug, it would be THE MOST prescribed one!
That's right - exercise is recommended to improve every complaint, from a sore joint to a bad mood, from too much of this, to not enough of that!
Have you been keeping yourself in shape? Or not?
Training for years? Or not?
As I see it, there's only a few types of exercisers...
- You love exercise and get plenty of it.
- You like exercise but dont get quite enough.
- You hate exercise and avoid it.
Whichever one you are, I have a wonderful suggestion for you to start - or increase - exercising. No matter what shape you're in (well almost), you can use a mini-trampoline or rebounder in your own home... it's easy!
You can bounce while watching TV or talking on the phone.
Bouncing on a mini-trampoline is possibly the most effective exercise because with each and every bounce, your lymphatic fluids move.
Rebounding is a unique exercise that affects every muscle and cell in your body. It's a safe, gentle low-impact workout that adjusts to your fitness level.
Easy on your joints and back... wherever you want and at your convenience.
Researchers at the University of Kentucky (in conjunction with NASA) concluded "the magnitude of the biomechanical stimuli is greater with jumping on a trampoline than with running". You're able to achieve a weightless state at the top of each jump, then land with twice the force of gravity.
Do you have aches and pains creeping in and lasting longer than you remember?
We all experience decline of function as the years advance.
As a generation, we Baby Boomers have been more active than any previous generation. Our parents survived the 2nd World War and the Great Depression, but afterwards they became sedentary cogs in the new world. And what do they have to show for it?
Our parents became prone to clogged arteries, strokes, heart attacks, diabetes and cancer. If they survived that, at best they could look forward to weaker muscle tone.
At worst... Alzheimer's? Cancer?
Us Boomers... We've Perceived the Problem - Inactivity!
And have been running away from those images ever since.
So what do we have to look forward to? Well a good many of us will never have to worry about the ravages of old age!
Think you won't live to a ripe, old age? Oh yes, you can!
We are built to perform under load. If we do not use muscles, they shrink.
But "No pain, no gain" is severely outdated. Let's replace it with "Use it, or lose it"!
Here's a short list of what regular exercise can do for you...
- Build stronger muscles, lose or maintain weight
- Boost your immune system
- Strengthen heart, lungs and circulation
- Prevent heart and cardiovascular disease, and diabetes
- Improves your mental health (helps prevent depression)
- Sharpen mental performance, keener learning processes
- Reduce stress
- Deeper and easier relaxation and sleep
- Enhance digestion and elimination
- Stimulate in your lymphatic system
- Benefits children with learning disabilities and cystic fibrosis
- Feel pleasure and sheer enjoyment!
Can you imagine how healthy everyone would be if we all exercised daily? Or even a few times a week? Doctor's offices and hospitals would be practically empty. What a great thing that would be. And how far-reaching would the financial effects of that go? Hard to imagine!
A Better Way for Baby Boomers to Exercise
Total Fitness in just 10 minutes a day!
You will lose weight and tighten up from head to toe with
stronger core strength and more youthful energy.
Relieve stress and rejuvenate your cells.
Lymphatic circulation restores your energy.
Rebounding is a unique exercise that affects every muscle and cell in your body. A safe, gentle low-impact workout that adjusts to your fitness level.
Easy on your joints and back - at home, any time you're ready.
Rebounding on a mini-trampoline is fun and easy.
You can bounce while watching TV, or while talking on the phone.
Possibly the most effective exercise because You Will Love it.
The mini-trampoline subjects your WHOLE, ENTIRE BODY to gravitational pulls, ranging from zero at the top of each bounce to 1.5 or even 2 times the force of gravity at the bottom, depending on how high you bounce. Unlike jogging (outdoors, competing with cars for air & road space) or stationary bikes (moving just your legs), or treadmills that will stress your joints, rebounding has a positive effect on every joint and cell in your body equally.
Exercise and Your Immune System
For every day of hard training, your muscles have 2 to 3 days of immune suppression following. No kidding!
So... no more training every day of the week!
If you have too many workout days together - as we manic compulsive baby boomers tend to do - then over time, your immune system becomes completely trashed.
There are numerous cases of marathoners coming down with reoccurring infections because they don't have anything in their bodies to fight bugs for them.
Your muscles need specific nutrition
to heal from repeated micro-injuries from training.
And no... I don't mean just protein - your muscles need more than that.
Systemic Enzymes to the Rescue!
When you overwork muscles, they will rebuild, if given proper rest and nutrition.
Formulated to reduce age or exercised induced aches and pains (from inflammation) and recover from all types of injuries (sports, car accidents, medical & surgical procedures).
- Restore Youthful Energy
- Recover Faster from Exercise
- Better Flexibility and Range of Motion
- Reduce Scar Tissue, Endometrial Tissue and
Hardening of Arteries
Preventing micro-trauma from becoming macro-trauma.
Systemic Enzymes differ from Digestive Enzymes
They are taken in between meals, so instead of expending their energy digesting food, they absorb and go to work.
Systemic Enzymes (there are thousands of them) work outside your digestive system, tearing down (scar tissue & arterial plaque reduction), repairing and rebuilding all tissues in your body. There are enzymes that look after adding calcium to your bones, and different ones that look after taking it out. Enzymes activate and inactivate all life processes in your body.
The ones we are very much interested in deal with inflammation, and its effects. Fibrinolytic enzymes (fibrin = scar tissue, lysis = take apart) break down scar tissue that was deposited in fast-made repairs to keep you functioning, and help your body make healthy, functional tissue in its place. That is undoing hardening of arteries, stiffening of muscles, and other trouble associated with aging.
Digestive Enzymes help you break down the food you eat - down to its individual building blocks, to be used in either energy production or tissue formation.
To make sure the enzymes you take are to be used as systemic - making repairs in your body - take them when your stomach is empty or else they're used to digest food. The best time to take systemic enzymes is when you feel hungry.
With 40 years of use and over 160 peer reviewed verifying studies behind it, systemic enzymes are the second best selling over the counter preparation in Germany.
For those with not enough strength and balance to enjoy rebounding, this is a fine option.
Three way movement: up/down, side/side and diagonal tilt.
For some people, it may be their only way to exercise.
