Sleep Better and Do More
One more question (okay, two)…
Are you a vegetarian… or does red meat turn you off?
If you answer yes to some of these questions, you may need more Vitamin B-12
and we have a great solution for you…
Super-absorbable form of Vitamin B-12
Vitamin B-12 is one of the most important daily nutrients a person can get, and because it’s found mainly in organs of red muscle meats, vegetarians are the most deficient in this important daily vitamin.
People that eat mostly fish or poultry also don’t get enough vitamin B-12.
B-12 Methylcobalamin Spray
This form uses methylcobalamin and that makes it very easily available for your cells to absorb, giving you the most benefits, including:
- Increased energy levels
- Improved sleep
- Reduced stress
- Increased mental alertness
- Improved immune function
- Enhanced metabolism of carbohydrates and fats
- Accelerated replacement and repair of all cells.
The less absorbable form of vitamin B-12 is cyanocobalamin – it has to go through your liver first, to produce a small amount of methylcobalamin. Only then it can be used and absorbed.
The absorption of B-12 from cyanocobalamin is not as good as methylcobalamin.
Another unique feature of this B-12 Spray is the method of delivery,
by spraying into your mouth. Sprays are known to be more effective in activating your saliva glands (than capsules, pills or lozenges). This allows the vitamin B-12 to enter your bloodstream much more quickly and efficiently.
Some smart person on Wikipedia wrote:
“Methylcobalamin is equivalent physiologically to vitamin B12, and can be used to prevent or treat pathology arising from a lack of vitamin B12 (vitamin B12 deficiency), such as pernicious anemia. Methylcobalamin is also used in the treatment of peripheral neuropathy, diabetic neuropathy, and as a preliminary treatment for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).”
So how do you know if you need more Vitamin B-12?
The Recommended Daily Allowance ranges from 1.8 mcg for teenagers, to 2.4 mcg for adults. Government studies revealed that typical Americans’ intake of vitamin B-12 is less than 70% of the Recommended Daily Allowance.
B-12 Spray more than compensates for that by providing 500 mcg per spray. This is much more than the RDA, but that’s OK. The Institute of Medicine states that “no adverse effects have been associated with excess vitamin B-12 intake from food and supplements in healthy individuals.”
Vitamin B-12 has the potential to interact with some medications,
so please be certain to inform your health care provider if you take it.
Symptoms Associated with Vitamin B-12 Deficiency
Let me quote Wikipedia again:
“Vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to anemia and neurological dysfunction. A mild deficiency may not cause any discernible symptoms, but as the deficiency becomes more significant symptoms of anemia may result, such as weakness, fatigue, light-headedness, rapid heartbeat, rapid breathing and pale color to the skin. It may also cause easy bruising or bleeding, including bleeding gums. Gastrointestinal side effects include sore tongue, stomach upset, weight loss, and diarrhea or constipation. If the deficiency is not corrected, nerve cell damage can result. If this happens, vitamin B12 deficiency may result in tingling or numbness to the fingers and toes, difficulty walking, mood changes, depression, memory loss, disorientation and, in severe cases, dementia.”
Causes of Vitamin B-12 Deficiency
- Small intestine conditions (Crohn’s or Celiac Disease, bacterial growth, parasites)
- Surgery (removed parts of stomach or small intestine, including weightloss surgery)
- Immune system Disorders (Graves’ Disease or Lupus)
- Atrophic Gastritis (thinned-out lining of the stomach)
- Pernicious Anemia (difficulty absorbing Vitamin B12)
- Long-term use of acid-reducing drugs
- Heavy alcohol consumption.
More Benefits of Adequate Vitamin B-12
Vitamin B-12 is by far the most chemically complex of all the vitamins. It plays a key role in the normal functioning of your brain and nervous system, and in the formation of your blood.
The American Heart Association advises patients with high levels of homocysteine to be certain of getting enough folic acid and vitamins B-6 and B-12 in their diet. When homocysteine reaches high levels in the body, it can be harmful to the heart. Evidence suggests that high homocysteine levels can cause cardiovascular problems, and it is associated with stress and brain disease.
To reduce homocysteine levels, one study revealed that a person who took 2000 mcg of oral methylcobalamin per day for four months, reduced homocysteine levels from 113.4 micromoles per liter to 8.2 micromoles.
That’s pretty significant!
Tastes great with no artificial colors or sweeteners added – vegan certified too.
Liposomal B12 with Fulvic Acid
Purest, Most Bioavailable Form of B12
The absolute best way to get the most out of essential Vitamin B12 is with Liposomal Technology, Methylcobalamin B12 – NOT Cyanocobalamin and with Fulvic Acid.
Essential for Your Energy – and So Much More
Clinically proven to be up to 20 times more absorbable than standard formulations. PuraThrive surrounds Vitamin B12 with liposomes – a layer of fat that is very similar to your own cell walls. The liposomes surround and protect vitamin B12 from acid in your stomach for safe passage through your digestive system (fully intact) into your bloodstream, then finally into your cells – totally unharmed.
