Mercury’s Impact on Your Health: Illustrated

Mercury is a heavy metal that has contaminated our environment, from the air we breathe to the food we eat. It has also found its way into dental fillings, skin whiteners, and vaccines. As an extremely toxic metal, mercury can cause and contribute to a wide breadth of diseases and ailments, much owed to the numerous ways it interacts within our body.

Although limiting your exposure to mercury is ideal, it can’t always be done. The best way to manage mercury toxicity is to treat it with detoxifying agents. But how do you know if your exposure to mercury is impacting your health? Chances are it already is. Let’s look at the various ways this metal contributes to a loss of quality of life, and what can be done about it.
