Smallpox Vaccine Danger

Researchers at Vanderbilt University, the U of Cincinnati and the U of Iowa are testing a smallpox vaccine on several hundred volunteers. These researchers have carefully screened the human guinea pigs, to make sure they are not at “increased risk” for adverse effects. Part of the screening process? Does a volunteer for the vaccine live with anyone who might be at increased risk, such as a child under the age of one? People who do not pass the screening are not given the shot. All this tells you the researchers are afraid that people whose immune systems are already compromised – the key to “increased risk” – could be injured or killed by the vaccine. It also tells you researchers believe that vaccine-induced illness can SPREAD from the volunteer to those he lives with.

Horrendous.

Now, this is a controlled test. Imagine what will happen when millions of people are herded into vaccine centers and given shots on an assembly line. This careful pre-scrutiny will go out the window. There will not be enough time or personnel to examine all the factors that should disqualify vaccine recipients. And finally, what about people whose immune systems are not compromised, and who do not live with others who have reduced immune function? Are they in the clear? Do not make that assumption.

It’s important to note that the researchers doing the current tests are using, in some cases, vaccines which have been reduced in strength to ONE-TENTH the normal intensity. And still they do the careful prescreening. A mental midget can see that the medical honchos are brewing a recipe for extensive disaster. Yet where are the outraged op-ed pieces, written by doctors, in the pages of The New York Times and the Washington Post? Nowhere. The Hippocratic Oath, which begins with, “First, do no harm,” has been replaced with “Don’t rock the boat.”
