Here is your second of seven messages from the Welcome to Life Enthusiast Co-op series. In the first message we gave you an outline of the information pages in our website. In this message we focus on our shopping cart.

As you must have noticed, we don't show prices in the information pages - they are all listed in the cart.

But first a bit of information about our health system: I want to make sure you understand how much control you have over your health, and the quality of life you will be experiencing in your advanced age. So before we start explaining how you can use our shopping cart, let me share with you some statistics from the CDC.

The 2003 data shows that Heart Disease and Cancer are by far the most common causes of death in America. These two causes are responsible for 65% of all recorded deaths. What is that telling us?

And here is another statistic: leading ways you could do something about it.

If you need some interpretation, here it is: don’t smoke, eat well, and exercise.

We at Life Enthusiast Co-op focus on prevention of disease first and foremost, although we can also effectively help you dig out of the trouble in which you may find yourself.

We cover many of the important aspects that directly contribute to your health. Nutrition is certainly by far the most important, and often much under-appreciated aspect.

But more about that in our message number five.

You can find a link to our Shopping Cart just under the Home button on every page of our website. You can also access it directly from the product suggestions on every page. Our Canadian shopping cart will process your order in Canadian dollars. The products and prices in it are different, so please pay attention.

We list available products in two ways, by their Manufacturer and by the Category. The Categories should be self evident – Nutrition, Cleansing, Skincare, etc. Some products are listed in multiple Categories.

You may also find a product by its name or part number using the Quick Find feature – just type the name in and press Enter (or click "GO").

We offer price breaks when you buy multiples of any item. When you click on the product name or picture, you will see additional pricing and more detailed product information. You may go to the bottom of this page to add the item to your cart or select "Back" to the previous page to do your shopping.

The “Add to Cart” or “Buy Now” buttons place the item in your cart. To see what is in your cart click on “Cart Contents”. You can “Remove” any unwanted items and change the quantities when you “Update” in the Cart Contents section. Do this by selecting "Remove" or changing the number in "Qty" and then clicking "Update".

Although we allow you to check out without creating an account, we encourage you to do so. You enter the same amount of data either way, and when you come back the next time, you only need to enter your e-mail address. If you forget your password, you can always request a new one.

We ship your orders with UPS or USPS. Our shopping cart connects directly to their servers and calculates shipping charges based on the weight of the goods you ordered. You can ship to any destination, and the cart will remember up to five of them for you.

Your payment is processed on a secure site. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. For extra flexibility we use two credit card processing services, AuthorizeNet and Linkpoint. If one of them rejects the transaction, the other one may accept it, unless there is an obvious problem, such as address mismatch or no funds. We accept PayPal payments and you can also send us a personal check. If you have to use a money order, please make it International.

Importantly – we offer a customer satisfaction guarantee. That means that we will work with you to your satisfaction to rectify any situation that arises based on your purchase.
