Best Life Ever

If you could choose to be either happy or miserable in life, what would be your choice? There is no doubt that each and every one of us would pick happiness in a heartbeat. Being happy is determined not just by our life circumstances and coincidence; our own outlook plays a major role in the way we perceive our lives. If we choose to see only the down side of things, nothing will convince us of the opposite. On the other hand, if we make a decision in our minds to focus on positive side of everything life presents us, wonderful things start to happen.

Nobody is saying we should underestimate the severity of the hard things or ignore the serious or painful things in our lives, but very often we tend to let the negativity overshadow every positive matter, even though the negative is usually temporary and doesn’t really affect us long term. And many people have this amazing ability to accumulate negativity which often leads to self pity and self loathing. Why is this always happening to me? What am I doing wrong? cries the lady after she breaks her favorite coffee cup. There must be something wrong with me, I am not good enough and nobody will ever hire me, thinks a man after his fourth unsuccessful job interview in a row. I am unworthy of being loved, sighs a girl after yet another breakup. What if the broken cup has a hidden meaning? You just made room in your cupboard for the mug you really wanted the other day in Starbucks, but you didnt get it because you had enough already! The crappy job interview probably means there is something much better for you waiting out there. And the guy who broke up with you? He was not the right one, but there are still good men in the world and you are likely to find the right match. .

Everybody is worthy and everybody deserves the best; everybody deserves to be happy, but our happiness is mostly in our own hands. Life is not about getting the best set of cards possible, life is about playing the cards we already have the best we can. Its about getting up after a lost battle rather than crawling into the corner to lick our wounds and just pity ourselves. Rolling our sleeves up to do the hard work instead of waiting for someone else to come and do it for us. Sometimes they don’t show up; sometimes its just us on our own who need to fight through the adversity of life with the only weapons we have: our mindset, our perspective, our hearts, and OUR choices. If we choose happiness over a miserable existence and we understand the power of positive thinking, the law of attraction, and we start believing that WE are the ones who create our own happiness, we can experience a miracle.
