Too Much Calcium Causes Magnesium Deficiency
Did you think that a daily serving of Ice Cream will work as an insurance policy against the advances of osteoporosis? Maybe but understanding your Metabolic Type would tell you for sure.
One of the things that milk commercials don’t tell you is this: excess calcium causes depletion of magnesium in your body. Indeed, America has the highest consumption rate of calcium supplements. At the same time, we have the highest rate of osteoporosis in the world. What causes osteoporosis? Removal of calcium from the bone. What is the cause of that? The loss of acid-alkaline balance.
What people are unaware of, because they have not been educated about it, is that taking more calcium supplements will not fix a calcium deficiency. The calcium is still in their body but in liquid form. Supplementing magnesium, however, will help bind the calcium in your bones, and correct magnesium deficiency itself. Its all about the balance between calcium and magnesium.
But more important than that is understanding what foods make you alkaline, and which ones make you acidic. This issue is very poorly understood even in the alternative medicine circles, never mind the mainstream medical boondoggle. The issues is this: some people need to eat a low-fat and low-protein diet to keep well, while others need to favor them and keep the starch intake to a minimum.
