How Clean is Indoor Air?

Indoor Air Can Be a Source of Health Problems

Have you considered YOUR indoor air quality? Oxygen level, pollutants ...

Houseplants can clean your indoor air. Research has found that 13 common houseplants can neutralize many indoor air pollutants. Surprisingly, the plants actually thrive on the very chemicals that make humans ill. The more exposure they got, the more efficient they became.

You need one plant per 100 square feet of floor space.

Choose from the following plants:

  1. Aglaonema treubii (Chinese evergreen)
  2. Chlorphytum comosum vittatum (spider or airplane plants)
  3. Cydista aequinoctialis (garlic vine)
  4. Delairea odorata (parlor ivy)
  5. Dracaena deremensis (janet craig)
  6. Dracaena fragens (corn plant)
  7. Dracaena marginata (red edge or Madagascar dragon tree)
  8. Epipremnum aureum (devil's ivy)
  9. Ficus benjamina (weeping fig)
  10. Hedera helix (English ivy)
  11. Hippeastrum (yellow goddess or miniature amaryllis)
  12. Howea forsteriana (kentia palm)
  13. Lantana camara (feston rose)
  14. Nephrolepis ex. Bostoniensis (Boston fern)
  15. Orchidaceae (orchid)
  16. Phalaenopsis (orchid)
  17. Philodendrons (especially oxycardium - heart-leaf)
  18. Phoenix roebelenii (dwarf/pigmy date palm)
  19. Saintpaulia (African violet)
  20. Schlumbergera bridgesii (Christmas cactus)
  21. Syngonium podophyllum (arrowhead plant)
  22. Sansevieria, scindapsus aureus (devil's ivy, pothos)
  23. Spathiphyllum clevelandii (peace-lily, white flag)

Air Purifiers to suit YOUR specific needs.

Your air will smell fresh. Healthier for your lungs and whole body.

There are so are many sources of airborne toxins at home and work. These germs can make you chronically sick (or kill you).

  • Cleaning products and air fresheners
  • New carpets and wall paint
  • Wood flooring and furniture
  • Plastic shower curtains
  • Cigarette smoke and industrial pollution
  • Mold
  • Dryer and laundry smells
  • New items that have been fumigated, or travelled across the ocean.

Anything that smells bad, IS bad for you.

Most cleaning products off-gas dangerous VOCs (volatile organic compounds). Studies have linked breathing toxic indoor air to:

  • Respiratory illnesses (coughing, asthma, COPD)
  • Allergies
  • Headaches
  • Burning eyes
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Back and joint pain
  • Digestive upset
  • Anxiety and extreme low moods
  • Increased risk of many chronic degenerative diseases.

And remember that outdoor air pollution DOES make it’s way into your home. Especially if you live in a high-traffic or industrial area.
