Liver and Gall Bladder Flush: Dr. Clark

It takes less than 12 hours to do it, it’s effective, and it’s easy on you. The Liver and Gallbladder Flush is used to purge gravel and stones, which are stagnant chunks of grayish-green, waxy cholesterol, from the liver ducts and the gall bladder. Practically everyone grows gall gravel and stones, and therefore, periodic liver flushes are recommended. This simple procedure is often effective for common gall stones, and also for conditions including: biliousness, nausea, backache, diarrhea, parasites, and for sharp pains felt under the right ribs.

Dr. Kelley is the author of One Answer to Cancer http://whale.to/cancer/k/Contents.html, and the original Computerized Metabolic Nutrition Program.

Preparation

Drink as much Organic (or 100% pure) apple juice as comfortable, for 5-6 days before the liver flush, in order to soften gall stones. For maximum softening, add ortho-phosphoric acid drops to the apple juice, for a total of 60 drops per day. It is sold by some homeopathic pharmacies, vitamin suppliers, and by some health practitioners. Rinse your teeth after taking the ortho-phosphoric acid: Brush them briefly with a baking soda solution (or Milk of Magnesia), to neutralize the acid. Many people skip all that apple juice, phosphoric acid, the coffee enema, the Alka Seltzer, and still get great results.

The Flush

3 hours following noon meal, and 7 hours before bed, typically on a Saturday. (For an 11 pm bedtime, finish eating by 1 PM) Take 2 Tablespoons (1 oz.) Epsom salts, dissolved in 6 oz. of cool water. Rinse your mouth with water afterwards. (Use a shaker jar to dissolve the Epsom salts. The taste is much less objectionable with cool water.) Drink more water, as desired… Epsom salts are MgSO4 – magnesium sulfate – an intestinal purge, and also a muscle relaxant for the bile ducts and the gall bladder, to prevent cramps and retention of gall stones. Epsom salts are available in drug stores.

Hour 2. Optional, but always to be used if stomach cramps should occur during the liver flush. (This is rare when using Epsom salts. Cramps would indicate that stones are lodged in, and blocking liver ducts.) However, this step is very beneficial in all cases, to stimulate the liver’s release of waste and bile. Begin with several plain, warm-water enemas-then follow with a 4 cup coffee enema. Use 1 tbsp. (1/2 oz.) coffee per cup, drip-filtered. Dissolve 1/2 cup (4 oz.) Epsom salts into the hot coffee, then cool the coffee down to 98-100 degrees F. (body temperature) before using. Retain the coffee enema for 10-15 minutes, while relaxing in a reclining position on a floor mat.

Hour 3. Take 1 tbsp. (1/2 oz.) Epsom salts, dissolved in 4 oz. cool water. Then rinse your mouth with water. Drink more water, as desired.

Hour 4. and 5. (Optional) This step is used to increase bile flow, which helps dislodge stones deep in the liver ducts. This step also helps to eliminate hunger. Eat: 8 oz. cream on fresh berries or other fruit, mixed. (organic heavy cream, without carrageenan) (frozen berries are optional if necessary). These variations have also worked: 8 oz. cream and 6-8 oz. fruit kefir, mixed. or: 16-32 oz. vanilla high-fat ice cream (quality ice cream, without carrageenan).

Hour 7. (Bedtime) Have the required items prepared: Have a timer handy, and also Alka-Seltzer Gold, just in case you get a serious indigestion. Take 4 oz. (1/2 cup) room-temp. extra virgin (organic) olive oil, followed by (or mixed with, shaken) 4 oz. fresh-squeezed lemon juice. Olive oil causes the liver ducts and the gall bladder to forcefully contract, and expel their collection of gall gravel and gall stones. (The acid lemon juice speeds the transit of the olive oil through the stomach and into the duodenum, which helps prevent or minimize nausea.) Next, rinse your teeth: Brush them briefly with a baking soda solution (or Milk of Magnesia), to neutralize the acid of the lemon juice.

Go Immediately to bed, face down. Pull your right knee fully upwards, towards your right shoulder. A pillow under your left shoulder will help. Now relax into this position, and then shift your weight to your right side. Keep your right knee held fully upwards, to your chest. Using a timer, hold this position for 30 minutes. (You can briefly stretch your right leg, if necessary.) Gall bladder contractions and expulsion of stones will occur at this time. These can often be felt and heard. Optional, but helpful: Massage your gall bladder with your finger tips, up under your right ribs. After 30 minutes-relax, stretch out, and go to sleep.

Plan to do a colonic after the liver flush, or some other form of colon cleansing. It will do wonders for your bowel health. Plan to repeat the liver flush when large gall stones (1/2 to 1+ inches across) are expelled, or when there is a large volume of stones (more than about 1/4 cup). If few (or no) gall stones are seen, this is OK, however this is usually a false negative. Repeat the flush in 4-6 weeks. When a large volume of gall stones is seen, the liver flush should be repeated in 2 weeks. Generally, the liver flush is repeated at 6-8 week intervals until the volume of gall stones seen has been greatly reduced. This can require 10-15 flushes. After the initial series, repeat the liver flush 2-4 times per year, for maintenance.

User Report

I take 1 tablespoon of Epsom salts in 3/4 cup of water at 6pm and 8pm the night of the flush, followed by two more doses at 6am and 8 am the following morning. I have no problems going. I take 1/2 cup of olive oil mixed with 3/4 cup of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice to push the stones out. I’ve laid on my right side for some flushes and on my back for the others and have found no difference in the amount of stones that I get out. You can try doing an enema to see if you get anything out. I got no stones out my first or third flushes, but lots of them since.

Castor Oil Pack

A much milder form of liver cleanse is using the castor oil pack. It is one of the best things to detoxify your liver.

  1. Boil or launder a piece of flannel fabric to remove any impurities which may remain in the fabric.
  2. Fold to make a pack of the appropriate size and saturate it with warm castor oil by dipping the pack in preheated oil (not microwaved).
  3. Position pack over your liver and cover it with a piece of plastic wrap. Apply a heating pad (or hot water bottle).
  4. You may want to use a towel to protect the bedding.
  5. Turn heat on low or to a level the body tolerates. Do not use heat if infection or fever is present or suspected.
  6. Keep the pack on for an hour or more. Longer applications may be beneficial, but it’s best to avoid falling asleep with the heating pad on.
  7. While the pack is in use, avoid distractions such as TV or conversation. For best results prayer or meditation is advised during this time.
  8. After pack is removed, cleanse the abdomen with warm Castor Clean or a solution of baking soda and water (one tsp to a pint).
  9. Store the pack in a plastic bag and refrigerate or freeze when not in use. After seven applications the pack should be washed or replaced.
  10. Use the pack daily until you see results or create your own regular cycle, such as two or three consecutive days or once or twice a month.

Cleansing the liver of gallstones dramatically improves digestion, which is the basis of your whole health. You can expect your allergies to disappear, more with each cleanse you do! Incredibly, it also eliminates shoulder, upper arm, and upper back pain. You have more energy and an increased sense of well being. Cleaning the liver bile ducts is the most powerful procedure that you can do to improve your body’s health. But it should not be done before the parasite program, and for best results should follow the kidney cleanse.

Dave Perkins, a public advocate of cancer healing, has added some editorial “Notes” in parentheses () based upon his experience. The rest of the copy is from Dr. Clark’s website, where you can also find some illustrations of what gall stones look like. I believe that substituting grapefruit for lemon, at least as it is used for a liver flush, will really help your liver.

NOTICE: Do not be disappointed if the stones you see are not as large and you get no parasites out. Even if you only get a couple of dozen small stones out of your liver, you have achieved a great deal for your liver and your overall health.

Cleansing

Cleansing the liver of gallstones dramatically improves digestion, which is the basis of your whole health. You can expect your allergies to disappear, too, more with each cleanse you do!

It is the job of the liver to make bile, 1 to 1 quarts in a day! The liver is full of tubes (biliary tubing) that deliver the bile to one large tube (the common bile duct). The gallbladder is attached to the common bile duct and acts as a storage reservoir. Eating fat or protein triggers the gallbladder to squeeze itself empty after about twenty minutes, and the stored bile finishes its trip down the common bile duct to the intestine.

For many persons, including children, the biliary tubing is choked with gallstones. Some develop allergies or hives but some have no symptoms. When the gallbladder is scanned or X-rayed nothing is seen. Typically, they are not in the gallbladder. Not only that, most are too small and not calcified, a prerequisite for visibility on X-ray. There are over half a dozen varieties of gallstones, most of which have cholesterol crystals in them. They can be black, red, white, green or tan colored. The green ones get their color from being coated with bile. Notice in the picture how many have imbedded unidentified objects. Are they fluke remains? Notice how many are shaped like corks with longitudinal grooves below the tops. We can visualize the blocked bile ducts from such shapes. Other stones are composites – made of many smaller ones – showing that they regrouped in the bile ducts some time after the last cleanse. At the very center of each stone is found a clump of bacteria, according to scientists, suggesting that a dead bit of parasite might have started the stone forming.

As the stones grow and become more numerous the back pressure on the liver causes it to make less bile. It is also thought to slow the flow of lymphatic fluid. Imagine the situation if your garden hose had marbles in it. Much less water would flow, which in turn would decrease the ability of the hose to squirt out the marbles. With gallstones, much less cholesterol leaves the body, and cholesterol levels may rise Gallstones, being porous, can pick up all the bacteria, cysts viruses and parasites that are passing through the liver. In this way “nests” of infection are formed, forever supplying the body with fresh bacteria and parasite stages. No stomach infection such as ulcers or intestinal bloating can be cured permanently without removing these gallstones from the liver. For best results, ozonate the olive oil in this recipe to kill any parasite stages or viruses that may be released during the cleanse.

Preparation

You can’t clean a liver with living parasites in it. You won’t get many stones, and you will feel quite sick. Zap daily the week before and complete the parasite killing program before attempting a liver cleanse. If you are on the maintenance parasite program, you are always ready to do the cleanse. (Note: I used a zapper that you can wear all day. I did 5 days of this prior to my flush).

Completing the kidney cleanse before cleansing the liver is also highly recommended. You want your kidneys, bladder and urinary tract in top working condition so they can efficiently remove any undesirable substances incidentally absorbed from the intestine as the bile is being excreted. (Note: I didn’t do a kidney cleanse, however my kindeys were in good shape, as far as I knew).

Ingredients

  • Epsom salts: 4 tablespoons
  • Olive oil: half cup (light olive oil is easier to get down) and for best results, ozonate it for 20 minutes.
  • Add 2 drops HCl. (Note I didn’t use ozonated olive oil)
  • Fresh pink grapefruit: 1 large or 2 small, enough to squeeze 2/3 cup juice. Hot wash twice first and dry each time.
  • Ornithine: 4 to 8, to be sure you can sleep. Don’t skip this or you may not sleep so well! (Note – I didn’t find this necessary)
  • Large plastic straw: to help drink potion. (I didn’t need a straw for any of it)
  • Pint jar with lid
  • Black Walnut Tincture, any strength: 10 to 20 drops, to kill parasites coming from the liver. (I didn’t use any, because I didn’t have any)

The Cleanse

Choose a day like Saturday for the cleanse, since you will be able to rest the next day. Take no medicines, vitamins or pills that you can do without; they could prevent success. Stop the parasite program and kidney herbs, too, the day before. Eat a no-fat breakfast and lunch such as cooked cereal, fruit, fruit juice, bread and preserves or honey (no butter or milk). This allows the bile to build up and develop pressure in the liver. Higher pressure pushes out more stones.

2:00 PM. Do not eat or drink after 2 o’clock. If you break this rule you could feel quite ill later. (Note: I drank a moderate amount of water – I don’t know if she means no water) Get your Epsom salts ready. Mix 4 tbs. in 3 cups water and pour this into a jar. This makes four servings, cup each. Set the jar in the refrigerator to get ice cold (this is for convenience and taste only). (Note: I didn’t find the need to refrigerate the Epsom Salt mixture).

6:00 PM. Drink one serving ( cup) of the ice cold Epsom salts. If you did not prepare this ahead of time, mix 1 tbs. in cup water now. You may add 1/8 tsp. vitamin C powder to improve the taste. (Note: I didn’t do this) You may also drink a few mouthfuls of water afterwards or rinse your mouth. (Note: I didn’t find the taste objectionable) Get the olive oil (ozonated, if possible) and grapefruit out to warm up.

8:00 PM. Repeat by drinking another cup of Epsom salts. You haven’t eaten since two o’clock, but you won’t feel hungry. Get your bedtime chores done. The timing is critical for success.

9:45 PM. Pour cup (measured) olive oil into the pint jar. Add 2 drops HCl to sterilize. (Note: I didn’t do the HCL)

Wash grapefruit twice in hot water and dry; squeeze by hand into the measuring cup. Remove pulp with fork. You should have at least cup, more (up to cup) is best. You may use part lemonade. Add this to the olive oil. Also add Black Walnut Tincture. (Note: I didn’t have any) Close the jar tightly with the lid and shake hard until watery (only fresh grapefruit juice does this).

Now visit the bathroom one or more time, even if it makes you late for your ten o’clock drink. Don’t be more than 15 minutes late. You will get fewer stones.

10:00 PM. Drink the potion you have mixed. Take 4 ornithine capsules with the first sips to make sure you will sleep through the night. Take 8 if you already suffer from insomnia. Drinking through a large plastic straw helps it go down easier. You may use oil and vinegar salad dressing, or straight honey to chase it down between sips. Have these ready in a tablespoon on the kitchen counter. Take it all to your bedside if you want, but drink it standing up. Get it down within 5 minutes (fifteen minutes for very elderly or weak persons). (Note: I found this very easy to drink, of course, I like olive oil)

Lie down immediately. You might fail to get stones out if you don’t. The sooner you lie down the more stones you will get out. Be ready for bed ahead of time. Don’t clean up the kitchen. As soon as the drink is down walk to your bed and lie down flat on your back with your head up high on the pillow. Try to think about what is happening in the liver. Try to keep perfectly still for at least 20 minutes. You may feel a train of stones traveling along the bile ducts like marbles. (Note: I experienced this during my second flush)

There is no pain because the bile duct valves are open (thank you Epsom salts!). Go to sleep, you may fail to get stones out if you don’t. (Note: I used a “hot water” bottle over my liver the first time – didn’t bother the second time)

Next morning. Upon awakening take your third dose of Epsom salts. If you have indigestion or nausea wait until it is gone before drinking the Epsom salts. You may go back to bed. Don’t take this potion before 6:00 am. (Note: I experienced no nausea or indigestion)

2 Hours Later. Take your fourth (the last) dose of Epsom salts. You may go back to bed again.

After 2 More Hours you may eat. Start with fruit juice. Half an hour later eat fruit. One hour later you may eat regular food but keep it light. By supper you should feel recovered.

Results

How well did you do? Expect diarrhea in the morning. (Note: I found it helpful to have some salve handy as you do tend to become a little “raw” after going to the bathroom as often as you will be doing). Use a flashlight to look for gallstones in the toilet with the bowel movement. Look for the green kind since this is proof that they are genuine gallstones, not food residue. Only bile from the liver is pea green.

The bowel movement sinks but gallstones float because of the cholesterol inside. Count them all roughly, whether tan or green. (Note: I got two good toilet bowl’s full plus assorted lesser numbers. Some were as big as the end of my thumb. I experienced no pain other than minor anal irritation. Mine appeared as slightly green, fuzzy, objects floating on top of the water)

You will need to total 2000 stones before the liver is clean enough to rid you of allergies or bursitis or upper back pains permanently. The first cleanse may rid you of them for a few days, but as the stones from the rear travel forward, they give you the same symptoms again. You may repeat cleanses at two week intervals. Never cleanse when you are [acutely] ill. (Note: Please use your own discretion. It is your responsibility)

Sometimes the bile ducts are full of cholesterol crystals that did not form into round stones. They appear as a “chaff” floating on top of the toilet bowl water. It may be tan colored, harboring millions of tiny white crystals. Cleansing this chaff is just as important as purging stones.

How safe is the liver cleanse? It is very safe. My opinion is based on over 500 cases, including many persons in their seventies and eighties. None went to the hospital; none even reported pain. However it can make you feel quite ill for one or two days afterwards, although in every one of these cases the maintenance parasite program had been neglected. This is why the instructions direct you to complete the parasite and kidney cleanse programs first.

CONGRATULATIONS

You have taken out your gallstones without surgery! I like to think I have perfected this recipe, but I certainly can not take credit for its origin. It was invented hundreds, if not thousands, of years ago, THANK YOU, HERBALISTS!

This procedure contradicts many modern medical viewpoints. Gallstones are thought to be formed in the gallbladder, not the liver. They are thought to be few, not thousands. They are not linked to pains other than gallbladder attacks. It is easy to understand why this is thought: by the time you have acute pain attacks, some stones are in the gallbladder, are big enough and sufficiently calcified to see on X-ray, and have caused inflammation there. When the gallbladder is removed the acute attacks are gone, but the bursitis and other pains and digestive problems remain.

The truth is self-evident. People who have had their gallbladder surgically removed still get plenty of green, bile-coated stones, and anyone who cares to dissect their stones can see that the concentric circles and crystals of cholesterol match textbook pictures of “gallstones” exactly.

PLEASE BE AWARE: the (“Notes:”) are David’s. Your experience may be different. He is not trying to “set a standard”, he is trying to let you know that this was not a painful or unpleasant experience and that he felt that he had really helped his overall health through better, more efficient Liver functioning.

David wrote: “The second cleanse I did, 3 weeks after my first, yielded very few “stones” however I did pass 8 or ten “index finger sized” objects (stones). I believe it is a good idea to get a colonic the day prior to doing your flush. I did this for my second flush. I have now done my third flush (about 5 weeks after my second) I got very few “stones” out so I assume I’m OK for a few months. I plan on doing these flushes every 3 months or so.”

You can learn more about (and order) zappers at Dr. Clark’s website and Don Croft’s website. I have used both and can’t say that I have noticed any difference. Don Croft’s is easier to use if you wear socks because you can wear it in your sock all day or somewhere against your skin. Hulda’s Super Zapper gives you more options if you want to do other “programs”. It attaches to your wrists.

I must add: Nothing I have discussed should be considered as direct or implied Medical Advice. I’m a Terminal Cancer Survivor – not a Doctor. Diagnosing or prescribing is also not intended or inferred.
