Relax an Over Excited Brain
Feel a State of Calm, Improved Mood, More Energy and Less Pain
When your brain becomes very excited, your normal body response is to produce GABA and this brings your nervous system back to a state of calm.
If you’re feeling anxious, having trouble calming your brain, you may not be producing enough GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid). People with an unbalanced microbiome (poor digestion) do not produce sufficient GABA – and this is a great many people in our society.
The natural function of GABA is to reduce nerve transmission in the brain, to calm nervous activity. This gives a person a sense of well being, more tranquil and relaxed.
Lower than normal levels of GABA in the brain can cause nerve cells to fire easily, too often, and have been linked to anxiety disorders (low, extreme and chronic), panic attacks, sleep disorders, headaches, addiction, and cognitive impairment.
