Amino Acids – Foundation for Health

Amino Acid Supplementation is Necessary

Many people cannot utilize their dietary protein, instead convert it to sugars for fuel, or to fat for storage. This is due to lack of nutrition, malabsorption and exposure to toxic metals (silver amalgam dental fillings, vaccinations, lead paint, and a wide variety of industrial products). Inhibiting protein breakdown causes inadequate nutrient absorption and toxin elimination. This wreaks havoc on your immune system, resulting in pain and many chronic and degenerative diseases.

Amino acids have to be first digested before they can be assimilated. Amino Acids are broken down in the stomach by pepsin, which is converted from pepsinogen by lowering the pH of the stomach with hydrochloric acid. If the pH of the stomach doesn’t lower to around 2.5, the first stage of protein breakdown fails. The semi-digested food moves to the small intestine where a pancreatic enzyme named trypsin, along with other proteases (protein-breaking enzymes) breaks down the protein further. The above are all the stages of digestion.

The next important phase is assimilation. Intestinal villi (the little finger-like projections in the small intestine that are responsible for assimilation) shrink in response to stress. Stressed people don’t assimilate food – of any kind. The only known substance that will rejuvenate the small intestinal villi is the amino acid L-Glutamine, which turns into glutamic acid to cross the blood-brain barrier where it is converted into glutamate (the most stimulatory neurotransmitter in the brain) and eventually breaks down into GABA (the most inhibitory neurotransmitter in the brain). Living in our industrialized society presents a large number of potential problems that inhibit protein digestion, leading to amino acid deficiency: HCl, proteases, L-Glutamine and others, all of which can slow or stop digestion and assimilation.

The Function of Amino Acids

Amino acids synthesize enzymes and some hormones, enable muscle contraction, help digest food, fight infection, repair damaged tissue and DNA, carry nutrients and oxygen to cells, remove toxins from your liver, make up most neurotransmitters and hormones, provide integrity to intestine walls, maintain proper fluid pressure differential in and outside of cells, regulate all chemical reactions, and are required for numerous metabolic processes. Your body forms amino acids when enzymes break down dietary proteins.

The amino acids are then in their simplest form, ready for the body to use. Most amino acid supplements contain the branched chain form of amino acids: to be of any use, these must first be broken down by your digestive system. When dietary protein is not broken down into single amino acids, it can’t be used effectively and malabsorption occurs. Amino acids must be available in the proper amount and ratio. Excesses of some amino acids can produce results as detrimental as deficiencies. Balance in the use of amino acids is of great importance.

Symptoms of Amino Acid Deficiency

Amino acid deficiency starts with your digestive system: liver clogs with toxins, wounds heal slowly, blood sugars become unstable, mineral and vitamin deficiencies occur, hormones become unbalanced, brain ceases making enough of certain important chemicals leading to mood disorders, hyperactivity, attention deficit and depression, immune system proteins become low and this diminishes the work of antioxidants, leaving your body open to viral and bacterial infections.

Benefits of Amino Acid Supplementation

Better Nutrient Absorption

Provides in free form the perfect balance and amounts of amino acids that refresh the pancreas digestive enzymes and small intestine glands to break the dietary protein down into individual amino acids from long chain proteins. Amino acids formulas that are out of balance may not work.

Proper Dietary Protein Utilization

You may eat large amounts of protein, but this does not ensure its digestion and delivery to your cells. Doc’s Aminos addresses the primary protein problem that started some of your deficiencies in the first place. It increases the free form amino acids a minimum of 2500% in a diet of only 50 grams of protein.

Activate Your Enzymes

The body then starts to rebuild and refurbish it’s 80,000 enzyme systems. With Doc’s Aminos it’s not necessary to take digestive enzymes, papain, bromelain etc., most of which are inefficient and/or ineffective. Your body makes its own.

Decrease Acid Reflux and Stomach Acidity

This formula enables your stomach to manufacture more necessary hydrochloric acid (HCl), to further increase your protein digestion, and acidify minerals (calcium, phosphorus, sulfur, etc.) so that they are prepared for entering your body. This alleviates the most common cause for indigestion, heartburn and acid reflux.

Carries in Vitamins and Minerals

Increase the protein-complex carrier mechanisms that take vitamins and minerals to your cells. Millions of people are not feeling the benefits from the nutrients that they are taking. This is the reason that whole foods or organic vitamins always work better.

Replenish Your Sulfur

This fourth necessary mineral in your body is deficient in the majority of persons. It is necessary for the synthesis of hormones (insulin), proper immune system functioning, healthy hair, skin and nails, and neurotransmitters. The expensive carnitine, serine, etc. are readily made from essential amino acids. Additional sulfur is needed to build this molecule. That’s why we added 200 mg of MSM per capsule. At the minimum effective 4 capsules a day, Doc’s Aminos supplies 800 mg of MSM, which together with the sulfur in methionine and cystine, replenishes the estimated daily loss of 800 mg of sulfur.

Nature’s Antioxidant – Glutathione

When you have an abundant supply of essential amino acids, the necessity for antioxidant supplementation becomes unnecessary. Your body can manufacture glutathione in abundance when you have a constant supply of essential amino acids. Cysteine-cystine essential, and glycine and glutamic acid (nonessentials) readily synthesize glutathione. Nine out of ten persons may not accomplish this due to low dietary protein utilization. Scavenging free radicals produced by metabolism, exercise, toxins, and infections is what your body was designed to do – when it gets the amino acids that it needs.

Remove Toxic Metals

Yes, you can detoxify yourself from heavy metals. Clinical studies have shown that Doc’s Aminos (along with other missing nutrients) quickly and efficiently removes toxic metals, and taken prophylactically, keeps them out of your body. Poisonous metals such as Mercury, Aluminum, Lead, Cadmium, Arsenic, have been shown residing in the body even when blood, hair, and urine show none. Detoxification is essential in today’s poisoned world.

Clear-Up Bacterial, Viral and Fungal Infections

Candida albicans, yeast and fungus infections can be cleared up. Observations made on thousands of patients have shown that protein deficient patients have many unresolved, sometimes sub-clinical infections. It was observed that most infections cleared up with Doc’s Aminos, when taken along with other missing nutrients (particularly vitamin C complex, which is rapidly exhausted in these conditions). No pharmaceutical products were necessary. Research is continuing on the major viruses with extremely promising results.

Improve Strength of Your Cartilage, Skin, Hair and Nails

Studies using Quantum Testing on thousands of patients demonstrate that Doc’s Aminos is capable of volumizing the spinal disks as early as ten hours after ingestion. The best record in treating back pain was established by the inventor, using this amino acids formula. Skin that is wrinkled, hair that is thin, nails that break, have all responded.
