Essential Fats ARE Essential for Health
Omega-3 essential fatty acids form a critical part of the cellular balance in our bodies. These fats are very hard to store, in fact they have to be stored in a freezer. Common vegetable oils have been refined to remove these fast-spoiling ingredients. Only some fats contain a good amount of Omega-3 acids coconut oil, flax oil, hemp seed oil and primrose oil are great vegetarian choices. The problem is most common brand products have been over-refined and end up being almost completely useless to our bodies. Essential Fatty Acids (or EFAs) are essential unsaturated acids which our bodies need but can not synthesize. Because of this, they must be ingested.
Our bodies don’t need a lot. They are not required in a large quantity daily like other nutrients. Your body needs a balance of Omega-6 (linoleic acid) and Omega-3 (alpha linoleic acid) fats in the right ratio. Flax and various fish oils provide many people with Omega-3 fatty acids. One of the best combinations is Flax mixed with Borage. Too much borage on its own is not great, but mixed with flax it gives an almost perfect mix of the needed fragile essential fats that the industrial vegetable oil producers strip and refine out of conventional food oils.
These oils protect you from inflammation and help build your cellular membranes, the most important part of your physiology. Having more is good for keeping slim, keeping free of pain, and looking young. Essential Fatty acids are important to your health. Really important. Most every process in your body requires some. In a living cell you need to have a good mix of omega-3, -6, and -9 fatty acids to keep things running right. They are like the bricks, doors, and mortar of your cellular structures. EFAs put out the internal inflammation caused by metabolic fires. If you want to look younger, feel younger, and loose some weight, eat more essential fatty acids. They are fragile, and cause oils to rancidize that’s why they are removed from most oils you find in a grocery store.
The best choices for the much-needed omega-3s are flax and hemp seeds. Hemp is an excellent source of amino acids, too. We bring you hemp seed and protein powder, hemp oil, and raw hemp seeds. We have done direct testing, and can confirm that these products are excellent. I have been making a smoothie every morning with this protein powder, some fruits, hemp oil, a spoonful of Exsula greens, a teaspoon of Himalayan salt brine, blended in Volixer for a couple of minutes. This drink provides enough energy to last a whole day! It is very refreshing and nourishing I am looking forward to it every morning, and miss it on days when I have to be away from my kitchen.
