Podcast 014: Recover from Pain – Part 2
Although Recovery is no longer available, we have many other supplements to reduce and eliminate Inflammation and Pain .
This Podcast episode starts with an important point made by Martin Pytela. He states that the two most common ways for Americans to die is by heart disease and cancer. Scott wonders, “Is this really the best way of us to go? It can’t be that pleasant.”
Martin observes that while we are enjoying a certain amount of life extension, it might all be for naught if we aren’t enjoying the time we are spending here. Running around in a scooter with an oxygen bottle doesn’t seem like Martin’s idea of growing old gracefully, and most would undoubtedly agree.
This is where Recovery comes into play. The product’s main ingredients are startlingly simple: grape extract and green tea. The active ingredient in green tea is extremely important to how the product functions and it’s called EGCG or epi gallo catechin gallate.
This active ingredient calms down an immune system which has gone off the rails, while the product itself repairs cartilage, skin, blood vessels, bones, joint tissues and much more. It also puts an end to internal Inflammation, once and for all.
So if a pain-free life seems like a dream to you, Recovery will prove that a results-oriented product can do very much to help you recover the freedom to move.
Podcast 014: Recover from Pain – Part 2
Scott Paton: Welcome back everybody. You are listening to the Life Enthusiast Co-op Podcast. I am your co-host Scott Paton along with Martin Pytela. Hey Martin, how are you doing today?
Martin Pytela: Very good Scott, thank you and you?
Scott Paton: Excellent, excellent. So, in our last podcast, which I thought was extremely interesting on the Star Chambers, you had teased us, if you are going to talk about how we could recover from all of the stress, pollution and things that we do to our bodies and…
Martin Pytela: Yeah. You know Scott, I was reading some statistics recently and it goes something like this, the two most popular ways of North Americans today to die of is heart disease, heart and circulatory problems and cancer. Those two together are responsible for more than half of all deaths, cause of death. So, we all die eventually, but what are we going to die off?
Scott Paton: And how are you are going to die? Like, I don’t think either of those are particularly pleasant way to go?
Martin Pytela: Yeah, what sort of decline are you going to faced with, are you going to be running around on that little electric scooter with the oxygen bottle and with your skin pasty white looking, dead, but just waiting to keel over, not a pretty picture.
Scott Paton: No, when my grandma spent seven years in a home, after having a stroke, and the sad part of that was that, as we visited her for probably six of the seven years, she was in the best shape of anybody on her floor and she was in very bad shape, but I mean they where… I will never forget.
Martin Pytela: There where people leaving all the time, right?
Scott Paton: Yeah, and I will never forget the people that had tubes into them and they where vegetables, basically and it was just very, very sad to experience and its …
Martin Pytela: Yeah, actually… I am sorry, I am not letting you finish this…
Scott Paton: Sorry. What I was going to say that, I had a tremendous impact on both of my parents, because they have both made it extremely clear that, if they get into that situation they want us to tell, because what happens of course as you can get influenza or whatever and they said, “Don’t give us antibiotics, let us go, because we don’t want to live like grandma lived for the last seven years of her life.” Like they just start that was pure hell and the funny thing is that there was… grandma got flu a couple of times and the whole family had agreed and told the doctors like just let her be… let her go peacefully and they don’t think, right they said “Oh, she has got this problem and they stick some drug in her and fix her, so that’s she could be a vegetable for another year, right and…
Martin Pytela: Yeah, that’s what I was trying to get in when I interrupted you is that, yes we have extended our life span, but where is the quality of that extension?
Scott Paton: Exactly, exactly. So yeah, so that’s… and I… and you see more and more people who when they live out their right life, seem to be very active like I hear 70 years old guys running in marathons and that sort of thing right.
Martin Pytela: That’s right.
Scott Paton: So, it’s not impossible. It is just need to do the right things to get the right results, I believe.
Martin Pytela: For sure, yes.
Scott Paton: So is Recovery one of these things that will help get the right results?
Martin Pytela: Right. Well, as I started to talk about the circulatory disease, a lot of it is directly caused by the inner inflammation that you will see doctors doing test for C-reactive protein and telling you, all your levels are high, you need to find some ways then they actually got prescribing things like Vioxx, which were supposed to make us better, expect that they end up killing about 100,000 Americans instead…
Scott Paton: Ouch.
Martin Pytela: Vioxx was found to increase the risk of stroke and heart attack, but anyway there is natural way is that the pharmaceutical companies aren’t too fond of it, because of patent rights. In the supplement industry we usually make ten times the cost of ingredients at most, whereas in pharmaceuticals, you make 100 times the money on your ingredients. So, it’s a very profitable business to be in the pharmaceutical, deadly drugs made out of petroleum natural oil …
Scott Paton: Chemicals.
Martin Pytela: Oil, chemicals. Whereas the nature-grown stuff is… I don’t know why this is that is not being marked up as much, I guess, we must be just a good-hearted bunch we natural healing providers.
Scott Paton: Well I have theory, I can give on that one Martin. Well, the government pays for how munch of the drugs that people in the hospitals?
Martin Pytela: It is insured, yeah.
Scott Paton: And how much of the naturals… how much they pay for Vitamin C for you to take?
Martin Pytela: No, sir.
Scott Paton: No and that’s the answer. When we have to pay for it ourselves…
Martin Pytela: We’re stingier …
Scott Paton: Yes, we’re stingier… well plus, if you knew that you could charge 10 times more and the government is going to pay nine tenths of that, well why wouldn’t you, right.
Martin Pytela: Yeah. Well, so here is this Recovery. It is based on a proprietary combination of grape extract and green tea extract they call Nutricol, and those are two most important components. The green tea active ingredient is called EGCG, epi gallo catechin gallate, an extract of green tea. It will calm down the craziness of immune system that has gone off the rails. So, what do we do? It repairs all tissues – skin, blood vessels, cartilage, bones, joint tissues, ligaments, tendons, synovium. It just holds the damage to all structures – anything that would leads to swellings passim, loss mobility, pain, it’s the whole thing. It is sort of like the surface of the ocean where there is wind up there, the waves are 6 foot and 8 foot, 20 foot high swells – crazy, but 40 feet bellow the surface it just as calm and peaceful as can be.
Scott Paton: That’s right.
Martin Pytela: And its that sort of thing that’s when you take these supplements that calm the raging winds, it just goes calm and that’s what this Recovery does. We were talking in our earlier conversation about the cellular structure and how the cell membrane is a brain of the cell and how it decides whether a nutrient goes in or whether a toxin goes out and a membrane that has been somehow damaged, or is reacting incorrectly is causing your body to go into some kind of damaged mode, one of those modes would be insulin resistant cell. Have you heard of those?
Scott Paton: No, I haven’t.
Martin Pytela: Okay, we will talk about that some other time.
Scott Paton: All right. You have got me, actually thinking when you are talking about all the different things of Recovery and I know some people who are, what we would call lead athletes and then quite a make it maybe to the professional level, but close and one of them had some real problems with his knees and to the point…
Martin Pytela: That in fact that’s how most of the athletes retire, because they are just worn out their joints and tendons and things like that.
Scott Paton: That’s right. So, his doctor actually told him he would never bike again or run again or any of those things and he is using his mind and meditating and some natural products and he is actually fine and he is able to recover quite well, but I am just wondering if someone who has worn out a cartilage maybe in a knee or has had some things, maybe bolts and pins, would Recovery help with that?
Martin Pytela: It would work extremely well, yes. I don’t know to what degree it would actually rebuild damage, but it has been able to restore function
Scott Paton: Great health products.
Martin Pytela: But, we can definitely have a huge amount of improvement.
Scott Paton: Cool.
Martin Pytela: Yeah.
Scott Paton: That’s the great.
Martin Pytela: That’s three other, four other ingredients, including MSM, which is the source of sulfur, glucosamine, chondroitin, vitamin C [Inaudible] modified in the body [Inaudible] its immune risk, so that’s most often increase like that’s part [Inaudible] use it, that could have [Inaudible]. [sorry, this recording is quite skippy due to bandwidth problems]
Scott Paton: I know…
Martin Pytela: A version… how they started. Actually, I need [Inaudible] all [Inaudible] I am sorry that [Inaudible] much is truly hope for rates, this either [Inaudible] if you pound… the human is three quarter of a pound, the recovery is so old in terms their in capsules and the powered that mix into a drink.
Scott Paton: And that’s the really good way to take this sort of products, I think rather than having those capsule putting powder and…
Martin Pytela: That’s very rough, it costs four or five cents even in high volume to encapsulate anything, for every capsule you are paying four or five cents to have it that way, so if you want that convenience, well sure no problem, we have it available both ways, but you will pay.
Scott Paton: Right, right.
Martin Pytela: Yeah, so there you have it – for any of you who are suffering from lack of mobility, you just need to know, there is a solution, there really is, it’s the inflammation and that is the root of the problem, so when you quell the inflammation your body actually recovers, rebuilds the structure, the damage is stopped, because the inflammatory process is eliminated and you know this body reaction, the cramping at cellular level is stopped.
Scott Paton: And then they are able to get nutrients into the cells that you weren’t for, because they are in the traumatic situation, or traumatized situation.
Martin Pytela: Yes, exactly.
Scott Paton: Cool, very cool
Martin Pytela: So, yeah I guess we need to get your athlete friends to talk to us.
Scott Paton: Yes, I am going to tell him about it, he is out of town for the next couple of weeks, but when he gets back for sure, I had never really thought of that and of course that is what happens, right people do stuff, and the just go well this is a way it is and I can’t think that change it, right.
Martin Pytela: Yeah, I find that most of the solutions are readily available if we only know where to look for them and unfortunately the media is so closely controlled by the large industrial interests, the cost of advertising is so huge, I have mentioned this in our other conversation, but the television stations these days are so dependent on pharmaceutical advertising, I don’t know if you would notice, how many Viagra and Lipitor ads you have seen, the percentage of is just huge, if you just cut that off, what would happen to the TV stations? The second thing is, if they understand who is their advertiser, will their news program criticize them?
Scott Paton: No, of course not.
Martin Pytela: Yeah, of course not. I mean would you be crazy to upset your biggest supporter, I mean this is sort of like telling your wife that her cooking, sucks…
Scott Paton: Yeah, that’s that…
Martin Pytela: She will tell you, “Okay, fine, I quit.”
Scott Paton: That’s right and if you strike on a few other friends too, I am sure.
Martin Pytela: Oh gosh, don’t even go there, but this is what would happen to a TV station if it decided to tell that advertiser the pharmaceutical company that they are not helping people, that they are harming them and that their advertising dollars are not welcome, well what would they do, take it somewhere else I suppose or buy themselves a TV station, oh they already own that …
Scott Paton: Great. Well, thanks Martin that’s actually really opened my eyes today learning what the recovery and I keep talking about the internal inflammation and that’s absolutely fascinating for me. It is really cool to know that there is lot of alternatives to getting over that.
Martin Pytela: It is important to know where one would find it. The Recovery by Biomedica Purica is the listed on the Life Enthusiast website.
Scott Paton: Right, that’s www.life-enthusiast.com and we will have a link to it also on our podcast page.
