Description

Increase Your Brain’s Serotonin

Healthy Mood Balance

5-HTP increases the synthesis of serotonin, an important brain neurotransmitter that is essential for mood balance and regulation.

  • Helps anxiety and uplifts extreme low moods
  • Promotes better sleep
  • Aids weight loss by increased feeling of being full
  • Decreases pain sensations.

Increased serotonin will decrease excitatory hormones in the brain, including dopamine and noradrenaline.

Serotonin is unable to cross the blood-brain barrier and is therefore made in the brain.

Tryptophan (amino acid) is necessary for your body to make serotonin. Tryptophan crosses the blood-brain barrier and is converted to L-5-hydroxytryptophan, which is then turned into serotonin.

5-HTP is also known as oxitriptan.
