Systemic Enzyme Serrapeptase
Enable a healthy inflammatory response (less joint pain), faster recovery from exercise and surgery, and promote sinus health by thinning mucous.
Pain relieving products may effectively mask inflammation and pain from an injury or surgery, but masking symptoms may prolong recovery. The systemic enzyme serrapeptase supports your natural inflammatory response - a more effective way to recover.
Serretia works by digesting excessive proteins that accumulate from overexertion. This ensures a normal inflammatory response, improving your recovery time from both exercise and surgery.
Study: Systemic Enzymes Speed Recovery
In Germany, systemic enzymes have been actively used for decades to support physical health, especially by the German national hockey team.
To determine the effectiveness of proteolytic enzymes, Dr. M. W. Kleine and his team at the Sports Medicine Investigation Center in Grumwald (Germany) took blood from 100 athletes' veins and reinserted the blood under the skin the skin on their arm, to produce a hematoma (blood clot).
Fifty subjects were given a placebo, and the other 50 were given proteolytic enzymes (1 pill, 3 times/day). The results: 70% of the 50 subjects treated with enzymes reported considerably less discomfort, even when pressure was applied to the area, AND the hematoma disappeared sooner than their placebo counterparts.
Another German study involved 66 subjects that underwent surgery for knee ligament rupture - common for athletes and causes substantial inflammation and pain.
The subjects were split into two groups: one took serrapeptase, the other took a placebo. Three days after surgery, the subjects that were given serrapeptase had experienced less discomfort compared to the placebo group.
