Podcast 220: Iodine for Japan’s 2011 Nuclear Disaster

Martin takes a phone call from a woman in Japan asking for help. She does not trust the official information out there and she’s concerned about her water and food supply (since the nuclear disaster). Martin tells her that if she does not have an immediate problem, then she will have a long-term problem.

The immediate problem can be solved with Iodine Supplementation. The long-term problem of heavy metal toxicity can be solved with Zeolite Detoxification.

Potassium Iodide is in high demand due to the radioactive iodine release. There is growing evidence that Americans would have better health and a lower incidence of cancer and fibrocystic disease of the breast if they consumed more iodine.

A decrease in iodine intake coupled with an increased consumption of competing halogens, fluoride and bromide, has created an epidemic of iodine deficiency in America.

People in the US consume an average 240 micrograms (µg) of iodine a day. In contrast, people in Japan consume more than 12 milligrams (mg) of iodine a day (12,000 µg), a 50-fold greater amount.

In Japan, they eat seaweed, which include brown algae (kelp), red algae (nori sheets, with sushi), and green algae (wakame). Compared to terrestrial plants, which contain only trace amounts of iodine (0.001 mg/g), these marine plants have high concentrations of this nutrient (0.5-8.0 mg/g).

The best tool for removing heavy metals is Zeolite.  It’s a powerful internal cleansing agent, designed to remove toxins from the industrial environment around us and disasters too. Zeolite is easy for your body to absorb, binding to harmful heavy metals and removing them from your system. Without additives or chemical reagents and with no taste or smell.

Detoxify your system of all electro-positive pollutants, including toxic heavy metals, mercury, pesticides, herbicides, volatile organic compounds, radioactive elements and others without removing beneficial minerals.
